@mrfizzzzzzzy u have clearly demonstrated ur stupidity. the message is ment for inteligent life, we our self arnt all that inteligent as humans,but we have so far been able to translate ancient text which would pre much be considerd as alien since all data on which has been lost. if we, a highly uninteligent species who doesnt no much of the univers, can translate texts that we have nothing about, who is to say that advanced aliens who travel through space, cant translate out language?

@farshad94abedi Imagine, tomorrow NASA receives sound radio-msg from space. How do you start translating it? You don't have anything to start from, just some sounds. How do you even consider whether it is a voice, or a sound from inanimate object? What makes you sure they even have vocal cords?

I wish we could spend more time working together for something like this instead of fighting each other over petty differences.

@zzzIdividedbyzerozzz Yeah, that's cool, but still only 0.00186 light-years away from the sun... The closest solar system is about 2280.69892 tines farther! Assuming it's path is right towards Proxima Centauri (the closest sol. sys.), it would take approx. 74,728.566 years to reach it! Modern Homo Sapiens evolved ~50-100,000 years ago. Sad but true. I wish I was living in the 30-ish century :(
