  • I think this was their first single. Tony Barber wrote it.

  • This is the 2nd lot of Aztecs-Teddy Toi(bass) and Johnny Dick(drums) from Max Merritt and The Meteors,along withColin Risby(lead) and Mike Downes(rhythm) from Ray Hoff and The OffBeats.

  • GREAT +++++++++++++++++

  • And see how girls had great figures in the 60's.

  • There were many incarnations of Thorpie and the Aztecs over the years since he came on the scene in 1963. Plenty of examples on YouTube. Check them out.

  • Wow...I never knew Billy Thorpe had tunes like this.....I only know of him through his tune "Children of the Sun" from 1979. I had to look the name up on Wikipedia to see if it is the same Billy and it is! Just checked and all of the is's are was's - he died in 2007 - R.I.P. B.T. Cool upload Carl, Thanks

  • @Cavemaaaan He had many hits in the mis 60's, in fact his version of Poision Ivy was No.1 when the Beatles toured here in 1964. I hope you have checked out his early 70's stuff "Mamma" live on GTK is a standout, as well as "Heartbreak Hotel" etc etc.
