  • Okay so theres this kid how made a video about 2 weeks ago with goku turning into a ssj3 with this music

just type goku super saiyan 3 one hit to victory

  • they should have at least finished the fucking series with the yamamoto score. ending it off on 64 is ok i guess but 96 is ridiculous...

  • does anyone else think that soundtrack art makes dbz seem like a good live action rather than a cartoon series? i know that they are drawings on it, but its what i see.

good going db evolution. you ruined that possibility.

  • I want a piece of those copyright fools.

  • I don't understand why keep defending this guy. He did not make these song! he is NOT a "genius". He just took someone else's work, put his name on it and made money of other people's work. He's a criminal, why do so many people defend him?

  • @Warrior536 He didn't copy all of them, just some.

  • @ech064

a great deal of them were copied. Yes its true he made some original. But that does not justify plagiarism.

  • @Warrior536 ONLY TWO OF THESE SONGS WERE PLAGIARIZED, NOW QUIT DISSING YAMAMOTO!

  • @MrVegeta360

So I should not judge a rapist because "he only raped 2 people" or a murderer because "he only killed 2 people"? It doesn't change the facts, Yamamoto stole other people's work, he is a thief.

  • @MrVegeta360

Beside, he plagiarised a lot more than 2 songs. watch?v=x0y5B7AMP1g

  • @Warrior536 No he did not. Just "Eb and the Flow" from "Avatar" and "A New Foe Rears His Head" from "Terminator Salvation". Where could the have possibly been plagiarized from. It could have been complete coincidence that those two songs sound similar to the songs he was accused of being plagiarized.

  • @MrVegeta360

Just listen to the video i posted in the previous comment, it shows somes of the songs he plagiarised.

  • @Warrior536

1.I Just saw it. I still think he deserved a second chance. Most of those songs were from way back then, so Toei Animation should just forget about those ones.

2.If those were the only songs that were plagiarized, then a majority of his songs weren't plagiarized.

  • @MrVegeta360 The reason Toei removed the soundtrack was because they had lawsuits coming to them if they didn't. So even if Toei likes to forget they are plagiarized, the people owning the original songs didn't forget...

The reason they removed the entire soundtrack was the fact that they couldn't be sure which tracks were and which weren't plagiarized. On might turn out to be eventually... so they decided to take a no-lawsuit-risk way ...

  • @gamefreakin That's ridiculous. It would have taken about one-two months TOPS to check every song, and have them legally secure. Toei was just being lazy. The scandal surrounded the ost took longer than two months, so they really have no excuse.

The sudden change in music completely wrecked kai for most viewers

  • @Madmel1st 1-2 months tops? You know how many songs there are in the world right... it even turned out some old DBZ songs he made back in 1991 were plagiarised, and it took the world about 20 years to realise that (because the bands he plagiarized from back then were small bands, not very well known). And even if they could do it in 2 months, in Japan Kai's budget was completely depleted(the series was ending in Japan in 2 weeks), so they couldn't afford a huge research like that.

  • @gamefreakin While it's true that they couldn't check EVERY song that ever existed, they did have an extremely small window to search through. And that's not even counting any of the legal security they should have done.

Depleted budget? The issue arose far too early for that to be an issue. If it was, Kai wouldn't have been localized at all.

  • @Madmel1st The issue legally arose on March 10th , 2011... Kai was ending in 2 episodes and those were already completed and all.

  • @gamefreakin Not quite true. The issue arose PUBLICLY on March 10th. If they hadn't either debated about it for months or even discovered the problem by then, it only proves my point - That they weren't being as attentive as they could have been

  • @MrVegeta360 It's also arguable that the trumpet-based tracks (which mainly played in scenes where Freeza was slaughtering people) were lifted from The Godfather.

  • DAMN IT! WHY DID U HAVE TO COPY OTHER SONGS!!!! AND IF U DID WHY DID THEY HAVE TO FIND OUT?!

    :( why Yamamoto

  • seriously, if someone copied some of my music, i wouldn't give 2 shits, because the audience loves it. honestly, if avatar or terminator got on DBZ kai threatening lawsuits i would punch them in the jaw if i had the chance. if i had my own tv show and someone stole my music or lines, i wouldnt care cuz a lot more people are enjoying it.

  • Love it :)

  • CELL! YOU HAVE MOCKED ME FOR THE LAST TIME!! DO YOU TRULY BELIEVE YOUR POWER IS FAR SUPERIOR TO MINE!? HERE! IF YOU HAVE THE GUTS TO PUT IT TO THE TEST, THEN SEE IF YOU'RE PERFECT ENOUGH TO WITHSTAND THIS!!!

    FINAL FLASH!!!!!

  • The ultimate build up theme!

  • Also Ssj2 Gohan's first Kamehameha

  • Am I the only one who thinks Vegeta should of killed Cell with the Final Flash

  • @MrZhu3 nope, in fact i think more of the fanbase DOES think that. vegeta deserves a kill that isn't the ginyu force (even then goku knocked them out...)

  • @MrZhu3 Hmm, that would screw up the entire series.

  • @fruitloop33344455555

    :) I know

  • If kai made a buu saga this could of been used in two places

    1 Goku ssj3

Kid buu vs goku's spirit bomb

  • this song would be perfect for gokus ssj3 transformation

  • THIS SONG IS FOR FIGHTING MATH HOMEWORK! 1 PROBLEM TO VICTORY!!!

  • @ToxicFridge lol?

  • @gamefreakin Actually, I believe they got the replacement score for 53 and 54 but 55-63 still have the Yamamoto score.

  • That was shlawesomez

  • They should use this song for when Gohan kills Cell.

  • @MrVegeta360 Maybe they would have... but since the score was changed with episode 64 (96 in japan) they never will :(

  • @gamefreakin actually, on Nicktoons, episodes 53-63 still have Yamamoto's score, so I think he's been re-hired. Very slowly I think Yamamoto's music is coming back to Kai.

  • @MrVegeta360 He has not been rehired. Episode 53-63 still have the Yamamoto score because Nicktoons aquired those episodes when he wasn't fired yet. (As I said in my previous comment, the music was replaced with episode 64 and onward). After Yamamoto was fired, Nicktoons only received the replacement music episode set for episode 1-52 and 64 and onward. That's why they aired 53-63 with Yamamoto.

  • Comment removed

  • @gamefreakin They should rehire him though. Without Yamamoto, Kai keeps making really exciting scenes seem like something bad is happening, even though it's the other way around.

  • this song made the Cell final form transformation even more epic tough i did not expect to make it THAT epic i was trembling xD

  • Anyone else notice that this bears slight resemblance to Heart of Courage by Two steps from hell?

  • @AshuratheHedgeho1996

i'm not really hearing it. i know a lot of people are trying to compare yamamoto's songs to popular pop culture ones but i think what's really happening is people may be 'hoping' to hear his some of his songs when they're actually unrelated

  • @guylaroche5 Actually, Most of the Relations are there with the other songs. He did pladgiarise American songs while making his music. Not enough to really call for removal of the Sound track, but he still did.

  • CEEEEEELL!!!! YOU'VE MOCKED ME FOR THE LAST TIME!!! DO YOU TRULY BELIEVE YOUR POWER IS SUPERIOR TO MINE!? IF YOU'RE SO PERFECT, THEN TRY AND STAND UP TO THIS!!!

  • Super Vegeta: Final Flash

    Perfect Cell: Oh Sh*t

    Perfect Cell: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    Super Saiyan Goku:Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    Super Saiyan 2 Gohan:Ka...Me...Ha...Me....Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    Perfect Cell:Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @AshuratheHedgeho1996 FINAL FLASH!

  • i can picture goku going ssj3 to this who else aggres?

  • @TheBlackBox101 i can picture gohan going SSJ2 to this too.

  • @lava172

Not really. It perfectly fits to the desperate scenes where everything seems to be lost and the characters are ready to fight till they die. Gohan SSJ2 is more calm, as Gohan himself is a calm kid.

  • @xYomen15x well the very beginning fits it well, the angelic kind of singing when gohans like "16 loved life" then after 0:30 for when he starts to yell and power up.

  • @TheBlackBox101 i think the old faulconer one is actually the one and only

  • @1yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is pretty good too.

  • @TheBlackBox101 I agree. I can picture it now. at0:43 u hear ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh until 1:39. Sorry I took longer than the others. I haven't had much of an occasion to practice this one. This is what I call a ssj3. Than at 2:06 Buu n

Goku fight and than at 2:19 KAMEHAMEHA!!!!!!!! He can Regenerate. You Strong. Thanks. You too.

  • they really shouldve kept this in kai, i mean this is what made the kai scene GOOD (from what i saw in the japan version)

  • I don't know why, but I suddenly got scared when the song started playing. =/

  • Brb. Fighting bear.

  • CELL! YOU'VE MOCKED ME FOR THE LAST TIME!!! DO YOU TRULY BELIEVE YOUR POWER IS SUPERIOR TO MINE!?

  • when I hear this I think of how hard gokus life must have been poor little guy alone in the wilderness for about 6 years then 20 years later finds out that he killed his grandpa I love him because of his bravery and pure handsomeness.

  • @kierrabingham I think Gohan had it harder. Surviving alone for 6 months and then harsh training. Watching his friends die in front of him, getting his butt kicked, almost dieing. And having to take responsibility to try to save Earth.

  • im breathing heavily at the first 26 seconds.

  • this first part is just sad its where 16 dies and the rest is showing gohans fury.

  • F-I-N-A-L F-L-A-S-H!

  • At first i was like 'wtf is this shit' and now i am like 'that's an epic win!'

  • Damn you copyright laws. Always preventing us from hearing awesome music during our favorite moments.

  • Possibly the best thing Yamamoto composed, it's tied with Destiny, hahaha, in my opinion, anyways :P to bad this wasn't on the American dub...

  • Man, gonna miss hearing this for the eng dub of Vegeta's Final Flash. I saw a clip of the new bgm and it doesn't fit it all :/

One Hit To Victory was a lot better. Oh well

  • put this song with goku going ssj3 and it will fit very well.

  • why did they remove this soundtrack was it copied too?

  • @petpef

Even though Kenji Yamamoto only plagiarized a few songs, Toei removed ALL of his music from the series.

  • @Austin21926 Not all, they left the vocal themes in Kai.

  • @ImmaTrunks2

Well, those don't really count... Anyway, this means we're gonna hear 'The Lone Warrior', 'My 18th Magic' and 'News of the Cell Games' in the dub?

  • @Austin21926 Yes.If you haven't noticed the episode where Krillin was impaled by Frieza the song "Only A Chilling Elegy" was left in.And what about Dragon Ball Z Kai's intro? They could've replaced it with "Cha-la-Head-Cha-La" anytime.

  • @ImmaTrunks2

Chilling Elegy is instrumental in the dub now. Sounds awful.

  • @shadowluma well when frieza transformed it was intrumental, but when he impaled krillin i think it was normal. and on a diff note, you remember when gohan attacked frieza's 2nd form? well to fit the time of the kikuchi OST it's only like 25 seconds long, it was like a recap rather than a scene

  • @lava172 i guess they dont want kids saying: 'he is coming hell will be exsposed he is coming to attack even dreams will freeze' in japanese.

  • @TheBlackBox101 they only played the first like minute of the song, and they dont swear like that. besides, they played it with lyrics on nicktoons before

  • @Austin21926 We probably won't hear "News of the Cell Games" because that was composed by Kenji Yamamoto.

  • @Austin21926 i wanna know why cuz they replaced the kai music with the original DBZ Kichuchi or whatever songs

  • @petpef Because Kenji Yamamoto plagired most of the songs and he got fired for that.

  • @petpef Excuse me I ment to say plagerized.

  • @Austin21926 Only a few of them were "confirmed" plagiarized. After that confirmation it turned out another song made by Yamamoto, Battle Point Unlimited (a original Z soundtrack song) in 1991 was plagiarized as well. After that was brought to light Toei couldn't trust the Yamamoto soundtrack of Kai anymore. They went with a no-risk approach and replaced the entire soundtrack. Not a bad move considering how expensive lawsuits can turn out. Especially in a huge production like Kai.

  • F-I-N-A-L F-L-A-S-H!

  • "CELL!!! ONCE AGAIN YOU HAVE UNDERESTIMATED, THE POWER OF A TRUE SAIYAN WARRIOR!!! NOW IF YOU REALLY WANT TO TEST YOUR STRENGTH, THEN STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!!!"

  • where can i buy this??????

  • @ssj4joker not with the scene....right? this sng with his scene fit much better..

  • Comment removed

  • FINAL FLASH!! *EPIC BOOM*

  • @MrBonez1092 OH SHIT!

  • @MrBonez1092 OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    -cell

  • This was also used when goku powered up while facing cell

  • I imagine Goku trying to become a Super Saiyan once again on Yardat ! Why do they hide this part ... I despise you Toriyama ...

  • @IronWolf38 Even though he created one of the most epic animes ever? :o

  • @kyuubinaruto199
