i had just got motion when i made this, so was laying with a few things, the fading in and out was meant to be like a strip light sitching off and on. unfortunately it has become very fuzzy since uploading to youtube and isnt as crisp as it was.

i enjoyed it it was nice and actually it would be cool if it was turned into a movie i agree lighting was good and the zoom and pan were great so grats to camera man... headspace above the girl could have been reduced and dirtying her up would have been nice. but everything else was perfect

There's a "torture porn" scene? I'll have to look into that. I was at first going to write and say that was just too sick, but it was pretty well done and good overall for a college project. Is the ending implying the utterly horrible fate that the girl will survive the gunshot and live on to be tortured?

hostel is labeled as torture porn, and so films of that style would also be called torture porn, its not literally porn with torture in. all though that probably exists somewhere.

otherwise thanks for the comment, and the ending is up to the viewer, although the guy seems to be a pretty sick bastard.

There are numerous reports of soldiers running on their leg stumps after they lost their feet due to enemy fire. Shock and adrenaline numbs out a lot of the pain.

Your video - its fantastic!

the lighting is almost perfect, gore scenes are shot very well. For all the stress and pain the girl's gone through, she looks remarkably fresh. grime and sweat will enhance her overall appearance. Greasy shaggy hair, dirty clothing and skin with a sheen of wet, if you catch my drift.

cheers dude. i know what you mean about the dirt and sweat but we shot over a very short period and in a non sequential order. so although we did think about it, dirtying her up and the dress then cleaning again would have just taken to long unfortunately.
