Transsiberian Orchestra Christmas Eve/Sarajevo live Council Bluffs 11/11/11

saw these guys 2 days ago in Raleigh NC, and it's the most awesome music event i've ever seen...you gotta see these guys before you or they end!...this song was inspired by the events of the siege of Sarejevo during the early '90's. as the city was shredded by artillery, a cellist would climb onto the rubble of his city and play the Christmas classics as the rounds fell all around him. when he was asked why he did it, he said to keep the spirit of humanity alive. these guys pay tribute to him.

I was curious about this too i looked it up they are in the same area just divided by the state line Council Bluffs on one side and Omaha on the other.

Saw the show Friday, it's the 5th time I've seen their Winter Tour show and it just keeps getting better and better every year! It is beyond imagination! Outstanding! If you've never seen them in concert, you're really missing something great!

Me and my girlfriend saw the show for the fist time last night. Outstanding high energy performance from the band and incredible light show. I'm ready to order next yrs. tickets. PS..nice job Kayla
