@simeon54 Actually for the record the spin move works in two situations, either if you are outside of range and step into range with a spinning strike or as a standard spinning move typically in a move series. However when you do the move your supposed to hold the saber so its pointing down behind your back to protect against quick stabs and slices. So in this instance yes the spin would have been a kiss of death, but thats because of personal technique, not the move concept itself.

I thought it was a well done video. I disagree with some of the moves performed, and the general actions taken by the actors were very unlike some characteristics of jedi/sith battles. The best block and move was at 1:20! Nicely done, well coordinated. I'll give 8 out of 10 stars!

ive watched only a minute so far and ive seen so many things wrong in it besides the outfits 1: moving too slow should of planned this and practiced on speed and skill 2:force lightning not dragon ball z just sick our hand and lightning form fingers 3:jedi would wear brown tunic
The outfits could be more jedi/sith like. Seeing the knight walk in wearing shoes is kind of a mood killer not gonna lie. Maybe add some make up to the sith to make him look corrupted by the dark side. It would be nice if there wasnt so much light glaring from the sun as well. Also, it would be nice if the lightsabers looked more like lightsabers. All that would add more immersion to the video. Just my two cents.

@UglyS71ck Its just annoying a lot of the time, if you look at a lot of comments its just thrash talk about "this would be better" or "that was crap". I dont mind it as long as it states good points all well. It was something done really quickly and people go all film critique on it. If i had of planned it all the things most people say would of been done without question, its kind of pointing the obvious.
music is cool. one thing i noticed about your rotoscoping though. where the blade comes out of the hilt i see it kinda radiate and flash a lil much it might just b me and i know u guys arent lucasarts lol just saying. and the sith held the lightsaber weird other than that awesome
Enaver great job man! Just a few tips I would point out for your camerawork next time (which mind you wasn't bad at all). I would move the camera a little bit more and keep the shots tighter. That's the only thing I would do! It was a great job! What a lot of people don't seem to get it appears is that you filmed this in under 2 hours which is quite a feet! Keep up the good work!
Enaver this is well done. My advice is not to listen to your critics it's a waste of time...well only if they offer constructive advice. I like the shots, the editing, and ending. You did well for your budget and time. Keep making more and stop wasting time on the negative losers in your thread. I don't see any filmmakers amongst them.

The outfits could be more jedi/sith like. Seeing the knight walk in wearing shoes is kind of a mood killer not gonna lie. Maybe add some make up to the sith to make him look corrupted by the dark side. It would be nice if there wasnt so much light glaring from the sun as well. Also, it would be nice if the lightsabers looked more like lightsabers. All that would add more immersion to the video. Just my two cents.

@UglyS71ck Its just annoying a lot of the time, if you look at a lot of comments its just thrash talk about "this would be better" or "that was crap". I dont mind it as long as it states good points all well. It was something done really quickly and people go all film critique on it. If i had of planned it all the things most people say would of been done without question, its kind of pointing the obvious.

music is cool. one thing i noticed about your rotoscoping though. where the blade comes out of the hilt i see it kinda radiate and flash a lil much it might just b me and i know u guys arent lucasarts lol just saying. and the sith held the lightsaber weird other than that awesome

Enaver great job man! Just a few tips I would point out for your camerawork next time (which mind you wasn't bad at all). I would move the camera a little bit more and keep the shots tighter. That's the only thing I would do! It was a great job! What a lot of people don't seem to get it appears is that you filmed this in under 2 hours which is quite a feet! Keep up the good work!

Enaver this is well done. My advice is not to listen to your critics it's a waste of time...well only if they offer constructive advice. I like the shots, the editing, and ending. You did well for your budget and time. Keep making more and stop wasting time on the negative losers in your thread. I don't see any filmmakers amongst them.

@Enaver You have solid ideas with the setup of your shots. Try guys like Film Riot, Freddie Lew, and Corridor Digital they tend to make good tutorial vids and shoot great stuff.
