I needed to watch this after watching last night's episode, hopefully the "right now" moment will happen sometime in the next few episodes or (here's taking a long shot) the season finale?? I so wanna believe they will be the endgame but if not then I just want Damon to be happy in the end. he has been through enough...Team Damon.

She is telling Damon not to kiss her again, because she knows if he does, she won't be able to resist him. What i like about Delena is that it was built up over time, and their relationship has changed dramatically since the first season. They've been through everything you can think of together,they know each other extremely well and this season is about them building a trust together. Season 3 isn't about them getting together, its about the things that will lead to them being together

And i don't think that is going to happen this season. Elena has a ton of feelings she needs to work out, so yea Delena may very well happen in season 4, not this season though.
this scene for me is much sweeter than the 3x10 kiss. coz here elena saying that damon cant kiss her again because its not right and not because shes doesnt really want him to. and her expression while saying it,shes like pleading him not to kiss her because if he does, she wont stop him :)

I may seem weird but I found this scene even more intense than the kiss itself.. this tender tension between them.. it's just amazing. this time I saw Elena even more "inside" the situation than during the kiss, which was actually sudden and almost stolen. here she expresses her unconfessed feelings in spite of her words. only one bitter note: haven't you felt disappointed by the way Damon approved Stefan's unacceptable behaviour?

I just dont see how its fair for stefan really. Think about it like this guys, Stefan found Elena first, and he saved her life. He was her first TRUE love. I love Damon, he's changed so much since season 1, he's patient and loving and doesn't hide it from Elena any more, he's perfect...well sort of, well for a vampire anyway lol, when the time is right I hope they get even closer, without there being so much guilt in the way and Stefan. As a Delena fan who waited 2.5 years for them to kiss, I would feel really, really cheated if this ep had gone any other way. I love the care with which Delena have grown from enemies to wary adversaries to friends to confidants and I want the same care and TIME to be given to the next phase of their relationship. Last week was about THEM. If Damon had kissed Elena this week, she would have let him, but it wouldn't have been about them and they both knew it.

AND...Damon is still sticking up for his little brother. Even before the kiss he was defending Stefan to her. Stefan on the other hand is always bad mouthing Damon saying he has no humanity, she's better than him, Damon is evil. Stefan is not nearly as loyal as Damon is. Damon is the better man for saying things like his brother deserves her, but he doesn't. Poor Damon, loyal and loving to a fault. He has to cover that sensitive side with his alter ego or he'd be crushed by the ones he loves.

@MsCarlisima yea and all Stefan ever did for Damon was bad mouth him to Elena, while Damon was always the one who stood by and told Elena that he didn't deserve her, but his brother did. All Damon ever does is speak highly of his brother, the same cannot be said for Stefan. And idk if your watching the show, but i seem to recall times where Damon saved Stefans life so don't use that, they both save each other. And lets not forget Stefan was the one who made Damon turn.

Damon is clearly the more sensitive brother. When he forced his blood on her it was bc he couldn't stand the thought of losing her. When Stefan did it, it was bc he wanted revenge. Every time Damon hurts her he shows immediate remorse. Stefan...nothing. Stefan gave her that necklace once. Damon has returned it to her like 5x now. He is always thinking of her feelings. He was turned by Stefan and forced into this life. Why doesn't anyone see how evil Stefan can be? Always saying Damon is bad.

She is telling Damon not to kiss her again, because she knows if he does, she won't be able to resist him. What i like about Delena is that it was built up over time, and their relationship has changed dramatically since the first season. They've been through everything you can think of together,they know each other extremely well and this season is about them building a trust together. Season 3 isn't about them getting together, its about the things that will lead to them being together

And i don't think that is going to happen this season. Elena has a ton of feelings she needs to work out, so yea Delena may very well happen in season 4, not this season though.

I may seem weird but I found this scene even more intense than the kiss itself.. this tender tension between them.. it's just amazing. this time I saw Elena even more "inside" the situation than during the kiss, which was actually sudden and almost stolen. here she expresses her unconfessed feelings in spite of her words. only one bitter note: haven't you felt disappointed by the way Damon approved Stefan's unacceptable behaviour?

I. love. this. scene. SO MUCH. XD I feel like the writers are nailing it in terms of realism. I totally understand Elena, not only is she still working through her broken relationship with Stefan, but Damon is kinda intimidating from a relationship perspective. He's just so INTENSE compared to Stefan - he will actually love her FOREVER. Their chemistry is waaaaay more adult and their relationship waaaaaay more complex/mature. Damon changed for HER! Stefan changed when he had her. He decided to be the villain. Even though he's good at it.. he lost her! Damon stuck with her through thick & thin when Stefan turned his back. I just dont see how its fair for stefan really. Think about it like this guys, Stefan found Elena first, and he saved her life. He was her first TRUE love. On top of that he changed his brother to who he is now, if it wasnt for Stefan, Damon wouldnt be here anymore, not to mention Stefan saved his brother like 194189418 times from death and sacrificed his own happiness and LIFE for him. The least stefan deserves is Elena. If your not gonna give Stefan Elena, give him something worth his while..

I love Damon, he's changed so much since season 1, he's patient and loving and doesn't hide it from Elena any more, he's perfect...well sort of, well for a vampire anyway lol, when the time is right I hope they get even closer, without there being so much guilt in the way and Stefan. Which might be difficult, but I'm pretty sure Damon will fight for it! :)

As a Delena fan who waited 2.5 years for them to kiss, I would feel really, really cheated if this ep had gone any other way. I love the care with which Delena have grown from enemies to wary adversaries to friends to confidants and I want the same care and TIME to be given to the next phase of their relationship. Last week was about THEM. If Damon had kissed Elena this week, she would have let him, but it wouldn't have been about them and they both knew it.
