Mijn excuses daarvoor.
oh my god... im an aboriginal and ive never seen someone as young as you get the breathing technique happenin and play as good as you... you should be proud that you can play it so well
Hey every1, watch an aboriginal play the digd. there the true owners of this instrument, and should be kept for them only. every thing else was taken from them, let them keep some of there culture to themselves. I think its a great compliment to them that this kid has learned thier culture.
To francis911, oh do we want to share do we, well we havent had a say in it ova the last 200 hundred yrs, why not, have it. We share our culture yes, through story telling, the dreaming, a culture which we are loosing, and should be passed down so our beliefs are not lost, but to me this is something sacred for our people, why they played it and what it meant. not many ppl understand our culture, good for some if they think they do by playing an instrument.
Dude, I understand where you are coming from. This is the Aboriginals instrument. White people are not claiming it and no white person will ever be able to play it or comprehend it as well as aboriginals. I just think you are being narrow minded and claiming an instrument / type of music as your peoples. Music is a universal language and you'll never stop people from playing it.

if it was left to only them its that much more likely that it would die out and never be seen again. its like saying hispanic food should only be eaten by hispanics and because americans invented the hamburger no one else should be allowed to eat one. its just silly. if someone else wants to learn about a culture and the way he/she does it is music, do it. music is the language everyone understands.
you need a better didge!

Hi Charlie,
I met a nice guy at Drumcamp last week who I'm trying to get in touch with again.
I think he is in your didge club.
His name is Damien, from Bury St Edmunds.
If you know him, would you be kind enough to send me his email address please?
praps via facebook?
Thanks

Why really? It seems to me aborigines really want to share their culture.

Bull!!! Then Rap should stay with the gangsta's and classical stay with the 'intellectual'. No,it should mingle and create new forms of great music.
Charlie, I'm jealous. Your very good!Keep it up
