LOL sorry to dissapoint you but these are sky lanterns about a 1ft wide and up and are powered by heat from a small flame they were launched to celebrate a race in the nearby village (blakedown) so their not microlights or satteilites or even aliens!!!!

ITs the biggest trash paper in the uk that will print anything. HArriers have often been mistaken for ufo as they can hover within changing wind velocity.

THere's definitely uav's in the uk airspace and they would be required to have beacons on for other aircraft safety. I'm not spooked by uav's in uk airspace.

This isnt ghost recon on the xbox 360 dude, there are lots of ufos sightings with these small round orbs, maybe they are some kind of observation device but from who and whats controlling them at such a vast distance? ive seen some clips of these orbs in the hundreds, now why would you have over 100 uav type devices in one spot? i know what your saying but surely not

The ones I've seen in L.A. don't move. They flicker out, or just disappear. I have been directly under one but for some reason, it's like being molested, it does something to your head and you can't remember details afterwards. You kind of block it out and it seems like a dream, and you just stuff it away with all your other dreams. What I do remember is the pickup truck next to me turning around, and driving like crazy in the opposite direction, veering all over the road.

Where was this video made? Someone has been shining a powerful spotlight into the sky near Bromsgrove recently (Probably promoting a nightclub or something) but I don't think that accounts for these strange objects. Very interesting vid, which seems genuine.

And a a very rational person alot of UFO sighting are fakes or a case of mistaken identity, but myself and a few family members saw two very solid glowing spheres(ufo's) very close up back in 1997 and the were doing manouvers considered impossible to the laws of flight and physics as we know them. UFO's do exist and are very real indeed, my eyes do not lie!

Sorry to disappoint you all but they ARE chinese lanterns. I know because we lit them. That night we held a 10k race(the blakedown bolt)and as a finale we lit 10 chinese lanterns one after the other and they floated over towards Bromsgrove.You will be glad to know that as part of next year's race we have added UFO launching again. The lanterns are paper bags which you fill with then light a bag about a third up from the bottom and the air presumably expands and up they silently float. sorry!

If they're not Chinese lanterns, they are fire balloons. You can make them with a bin bag, drinking straws (or balsa wood) and candles. I've built a few myself. They look exactly like the objects in this video.

Chinese Lanterns are hung from sticks with candels in.... They dont fly a few hundred feet in the air... unless they were somehow attached to helium balloons... and candels and helium isnt a good mix! (besides, I see no balloons).

Actually he's right, they do fly. Walking home from work I saw one launched from someone's garden, little paper lantern with a candle inside. You can see them for miles and they look different colours depending on the colour of the paper. Further down the road some people spotted it and were convinced it was a UFO, I didn't wonna spoil their experience so I didn't tell them what it actually was.

I live in Kidderminster and on 2 consecative nights around 11.50 i went to bedand i saw a bright Orange ball from my bed. I know for a fact that we are not alone. I was puzzeled at first, no flashing light,so was not a helicopter, then i thought it might have been Niburu, but that aint due to be seen til 2009. Then discarded it and see at work in the paper aboat the ufo's. Be aware people, thay are here.

They are called Glow lanterns or Sky lanterns.

A paper lantern with a candle underneath.

You can buy them from firework shops. They come from Thailand but they were invented by the Chinese 2000 years ago and used as military signals.

Do a search on youtube.

They were released by a couple as part of their wedding celebration.

And isnt there a regulation regarding sky lanterns? I live in Asia and do not see this done at all, actually. Has this just become a convenient thought for people? Where i live there is an RAF millitary base and on June the 8th 2008, A UFO was reported by three pilots of one of the helicopters which was about to land at the base. The UFO nearly colided with the helicopter causing the pilot to bank the chopper to avoid being hit.
