WE were digging in an old 1890's trash dump that had stuff from as far back as the sixteen and seventeen hundreds in it---it still has potential---but I haven't went bottle digging in over 8 years or so---been only doing detecting for a good while and not enough of that lately----
@micmoable --- Sorry to hear about your accidents Micmoable ....... and I haven't been doing as much detecting as I want either,.. Life just gets in the way sometimes but we'll be back at it again soon enough .... good luck on your next hunt ............Bill /
@DigginAmerica Whew that was some painful stuff! second time was just standing on a big pile of dirt and suddenly wham! My leg went through the dirt and scraped my bad leg frpm first accident against a gnarly root---YOW! a feelow digging with me asked me if I was okay and it hurt so blamed bad I just held my hand out and couldn't speak---God, bottle digging can hurt ya---ha! GOTTA BE EXTRA CAREFUL-----and I won't go tunneling back far into a hole either--you could be killed by cave-in
I've found CLOROX bottles like that--I believe they are from around the thirties or forties----worth a couple bucks---maybe three or 4 bucks at a fleamarket
@micmoable --- Thanks for the info micmoable .... this bottle diggin trash pits is some tough work isn't it ? ...not like just diggin coins in a park ...... good luck on your next hunt ................ Bill .
@DigginAmerica I dug a bunch of hardpacked dirt with all sorts of debris in the middle of summer with a tent over me and my dig partner----thanks God we had a bunch of bottled water and ice to keep it cool---it was H---O---T !!!!!!!!!!! AND I HAD A BAD ACCIDENT THAT NEARLY BROKE MY LEG----TWICE!
Excellent video! One of the best I've ever seen on bottle digging. Neat clorox bottle! You found some interesting surprises and brought them to life by sharing your thoughts, like about the little boy who played with those toys. He grew up, lived his life and died. Today we find his toys. And that old light bulb was freaking phenomenal!
@OhioCoinHunter --- Thank you Dan ....I really enjoyed your last hunt also .... whenever one of your new videos comes out, I switch to full screen viewing because I know I'm in for a great hunt !
@clippy1949 --- Thank you so much Camel ............those classic bottles are like works of art .................good luck on your next hunt and I hope you find something really nice !
