  • This city is the best city in the world. Why be a dickhead and DESTROY IT? Then, you're no better than the pussy New York or Boston fans. Lets not reduce ourselves to that level.

    Philadelphia forever!

  • WHA?!?!?!

In Boston, their even worse than this... But we NEVER riot in New York. We enjoy our championships and celebrate like humans, regardless of how long we have to wait for a championship. We don't fuck up our own city like a bunch of monkeys.

That is why New York is the greatest city in the World, and New York fans are the greatest fans in sports.

  • Yes, the 77 blackout was a peaceful ordeal of togetherness.

  • Yes, because the '77 Blackout Riots were related to sports.

I never said that there weren't riots in New York, period. I was just saying that we don't go out and fuck up our own town when one of our teams wins a championship.

  • I'm not saying I agree with rioting but maybe NYC would be a little more riled up if they didn't expect a championship every few years.

A 26 year dry patch does things to people.

  • Agreed, but actually, if we were limiting my statement to Yankees fans, then you'd be 100% correct.

New York Giants: Had to wait 17 years... No riots.

New York Rangers: Had to wait 54 years... No riots.

  • Well, that 26 years I mentioned was since the 76ers win in 83. Before last year, that was the time since ANY major championship. There's a big difference between one to two winning teams and none.

  • i walked right by that... it only got worse. and yeah... it was city hall

  • that is city hall!

    thats jfk bouly

in between city hall masonic lodge and the municipal building

so how can it be up the street from city hall when you see city hall right in the camera shot!

  • no its not, i used to live some where around there. thats near the post office up the street from city hall.

  • lol everyone says that! i know where that is.. thats next to the post office and train station up the street from city hall. i bet ppl in the highway is tryin to figure out why all those ppl are out there.

  • Ummm... that's city hall right there, not the 30th street station area, which is a good many blocks away.

  • This video reminds me of Cloverfield! Where's the monster?
