Good parody, but Weston now looks much better. There are a host of UK seaside resorts that are far worse. Weston looked positively sparkling compared to my recent trips to Paignton and the Isle of Wight.

Ha! not perfect, but I like it, well done. Was brought up in Weston, left it for good in 1971, my dad is still there, bless him. I stayed for a few nights at a B&B not long ago, not 'cause I wanted to, I had to (poor dad). Spent the evenings going to the new Weatherspoons, the Cabot, and a couple of other sea front watering holes. Yea, I sat and looked out at Steepholme & Flatholme. Looked at Knightstone & remembered when it was a baths. Would I live there again? not if I can help it

Yes; sad but an awful lot of truth in the words, chosen well. On the other side; WSM is in lovely geographical position and is perhaps unappreciated in this area. Those in charge of planning for WSM's present and future, well! they need to be shot. Tropicanna can't anyone see that WSM cries out for a water park of the highest calibre; where's the nearest one?? quite! investment nil; fortunes lost. Airfield; new airport, solid jobs; status. I have just been working in Weston and this song is so true! Full of Chavs and beer gutted on the dole brummies and taffs, Why oh why do the girls have to be fat , have multi coloured hair, tattoos and piercings in every bit of their body, a dress sense that went out 20 years ago with skirts up to their crutch, cellulite dripping. spend their dole money on fags and nappies.
