  • I saw him 2 weeks ago at Notodden Blues Festival, He a fantastic guitarplayer and hes playing with feelings that no other artist iwe seen for the last decade...

  • Oh, my God! There is all I need from music, in just one song... Magnificent!

  • only thing better than this is the version of Old Friend Warren does back stage with Trucks both of their accoustic slides ringing out, crazy good, crazy tasty. O yea.

  • lol omg opie wasn't joking. there are two douchebags who literally go through and dislike every one of his videos.

  • agreed............a LEGEND

  • O n A said he had a cold this day

  • Sometimes cant watch this enough..no words justify the talent and dedication. So glad Ihave had the pleasure of hearing this man play!

  • Absolutely AWESOME!!!!

  • Awesome tune by an awesome slider!

  • I love Warren ..One of the Best of our time!!

  • the BEST...

Warren you are the BEST musician alive... thanks for that music for our asses! keep on sliding man!

  • so much more talent is put into music like this. im sick of the pop and rap shit. i want the real music back! LONG LIVE WARREN!

  • @csimo29 most of what ive seen online has told me C as well but i swear he has the 6th E dropped to a D....

  • can anyone tell me wat tuning this is in??? i gotta play this

  • @bunique2r

    open c

  • @bunique2r

    D A D F# A D

  • @bunique2r

    Open D

    D A D F# A D

  • Wow ... all I can say. Dig people ... dig deeper. The Blues is older than you think and the more you get into it and the players you'll see what I mean.

  • 100% agree with both of you.

  • awesome man!! tks 4 sharing this!! ;)

  • i love warren in a non faggot way

  • @hoggwheels I love you in a faggot way

  • Solid. This is what our music in the 70's and 80's had as a foundation: good soulful players like Warren, skilled at his craft. BTW: next time he is on, then let Ant say he thinks all "Blues music" is shit, like he said the other day. Bring him back for another round Ope. That was a good day.

  • Pure magic.

  • @SJ267 ho ho You know, Alice, I invented the acoustic guitar.

  • (as expected) this is great.

  • I see you guys are ripping off Stern again.

  • @SJ267 Hows that dummy?

  • @billburrsucs Stern invented acoustic songs on the radio!

  • @SJ267 Really? you fucking dummy!

  • @billburrsucs Yeah really! No one ever played acoustic before Stern invented it!

  • @SJ267 You just said Stern invented acoustic. He really has you brainwashed. SAD.

  • @SJ267 is obviously joking you tards

  • @SJ267 i hope you are just fucking around. if not then you need to get brain cancer.

  • Drop D for sure. One of the best of all time.

  • I love watching my hero. I love that I'm not the only one. Warren is THE MAN. Let your Soulshine people. Peace, Imij.

  • love that song...

  • great!!!!!

  • Does anyone know where I could buy/download this song or the versions on YouTube??? Simply Amazing and underated

  • can anyone tell me if this is in starndard tuning or sumthin different bout to learn this song its amazing

  • @bunique2r - it's an Open C tuning, Warren uses it frequently - CGCGCE

  • thanks brother

  • @fjlauer

I believe its actually dropped D. Not doubting that he uses open C. But this looks like dropped D ( DADGBE) What how he plays the chords.

  • is that the Eric Clapton model Martin, the 000-28EC?

  • Ya it is. You can see the inlay of Clapton on the bottom of the nick

  • Yup.

  • "Mr Warren Haynes everbody".......im gonna love hearing that at wannie when WSP is on stage :)

  • Comment removed

  • Warren is amazing and it is too funny that all the busy-bodies are just walking by in the background. They don't have a clue.

  • Just incredible......what a talent....right to the sole.

  • he's no mustard....

  • Warren, solo with just a guitar, never fails to bring tears to my eyes.

  • one of the greatest living musicians,

  • That right there is what it's all about. One guy, one guitar and one voice. You either have it or you don't.

  • @bman0341 I 100% agree. Warren sounds so much like Greg Allman to me..very deep powerful soulfull voice..it's addicting to listen to that sound..people who like country music. won't have anything but Hank Williams..cause it's pure and honest. i feel that way about those OLD TIME blues players..Harmonica, dobro slide.. kinda music

  • aahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!too fucking good !!

  • warren is a god. 5 shots of jager to ya warren!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Warren is supremely underrated, great bluesy tune....

  • How can you not like Warren Hayes. He has such a powerful, discerning voice. Thanks for posting Opie!

  • Warren is an AMAZING musician. finally a good guests are coming to the show. great job Opster

  • this is what set O&A apart from Hoo-Hoo...O and A are more diverse in discussions and music and current events ect etc whereas Hoo Hoo is all about himself and that uppity shitcrust bitch Robin (OOOOOOOOOOOOOO) God i can't stand her and would love to see her anally impaled by a rhino

  • Awesome vid - Warren's the man.

  • man i wish i could find a legit mp3 of this version. Warren Haynes was great on the show.

  • Send me a msg with your e-mail

  • i can get you the tape of this show if you wanna cut it down and get the feed of those 2 microphones you see up there. u can chop it up and get the mp3

  • Sit Down??? --- Aren't they always sitting?? im not sure if there is enough deep-fried meat to lure Ronnie B and Warren to get up----maybe they could make a couch out of KFC Crackles--luv ya Ronnie B--and yes that would be a great interview (fat jokes are funny too---warren was great)

  • Touche--faggot --Touche

  • I still chuckle thinking the Boyz wanted to run him out after a song--and then he throws out his Gem--fucking pricks LOL

  • Yeah.

I think we read that a couple of days ago.

  • Thanks Warren, this was greatness.

  • Let's hear some fuckin noise. This isn't a Warren Zevon concert!

  • Smerked my ass -off. Cuz the prick ass Boyz wanted to have him just come in and play Music..and leave! He was so entertaining--musically and educating the rest of us (including lil yimmy) on what we are missing in our POP life.

  • What a great song. Warren Haynes is a guitar god

  • @walladam1 - That's the beauty of people being different man. Ronnie B is an AWESOME interviewer, but so are O&A. They didn't blow anything. You're entitled to your opinion, it just seems shortsighted and a bit ignorant. Why would Ronnie B be laughing his ass off? RBI's format is completely different that the O&A show - so why would you expect identical interviews? I like the idea of getting completely different interactions..otherwise what's the sense of doing more than one interview?

  • I need an mp3 of that

  • Warren haynes f**kin rocks

  • warren haynes is a living legend. too bad o&a totally blew the interview. ronnie b. had to be laughing his ass off at those two.

  • @walladam1 Just because O&A have a different style than Ron doesn't mean they "blew the interview." Would I have liked to hear him on RBI? Absolutely! However, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thoroughly enjoyed listening to Warren interact with the boys.

  • I think Opie was into it. Anthony and Jimmy didn't seem to know what a big deal Warren is going into the interview. Opie saved the interview. I would love to hear Ron sit down with Warren for a half hour.

  • Now that's music man... So much soal, emotion, and flava....

  • Warren's the man.

  • He fucking rules!

  • that was awesome this song jumped through the radio when he played it

  • i wonder if this guy has ate so much cheese, he has got a tummy ache from it

  • very nice opie. bad ass! thats all i got. punch'n out

  • thanks for uploading these vids opie

  • fucking owned opie thanks a lot. your only fan in amsterdam
