@FWTrump Yeah apparently I'm the only one that did. I got used to it throughout the game. Also, previous night during the group play I told my bud that I had a feeling there would be an epic chase where the thing is behind you and you had to close doors to prevent it from catching up. (A box appears on the vid linking to it.)

@allealle9090 For the most time that's player dependent. If you embrace yourself in the game and scare easily then it will. If you just see it as a game and don't scare easily then you probably will shrug most of it off. Though, I have seen someone who doesn't scare easily play it in the dark and he was uneasy at certain points.

@CommanderDenton There's an invisible water monster that chases you earlier in the game. Every time you go by a well or something that leads to water you can hear it growl or splash. I ended up naming it Sebastian for no reason what-so-ever. We have names for all the monsters in the game: Sebastian the Water Monster, Bob/Billy the Butcher, Timmy McNoface / The Shambler).

As far as I'm concerned comparing Amnesia to the FEAR games, it is a lot more suspenseful if you can't fight back. Even in FEAR you have the option to fire a gun to release some tension. Amnesia the only thing you can do it run. And now that I think about it, a lot of the FEAR horror stuff fizzles away after it scares you, the Amnesia stuff hunts your ass down. They put the guns in the wrong game. =/
