  • her last questions looool.... about his wet shirt and his nipples rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It's so funny. I love Bridget Jones and Colins british accent and his realy hot voice.

  • That was HILARIOUS !! too bad the vid was fuzzy but omg HIlarious!!!

  • Can't wait for 2013!I seem like the only person who knows about 'Bridget Jones's Baby'

  • LMFAO oh gosh hilarious...... I wonder if Renee Zellweger had to act out much of the fangirling or if it was sort of natural HAHAHAHAHA

  • This actually happened to Collin Firth. There is an interview concerning a different film, where a reporter keeps mentioning the infamous wet shirt.

  • @create4beauty lol really? do you know which one it is?

  • This actually happened to Collin Firth. There is an interview concerning a different film, where a reporter keeps mentioning the infamous wet shirt.

  • I'm cracking up but I don't know how this makes me cringe so much.

  • its hilarious how hes getting irritated that she keeps asking him about the wet shirt scene! haha. shes just like wet shirt! wet shirt!

  • Haha I love it !ROFL

Especially her obession with the P&P 95 wet shirt scene,

No matter what is is talking about she always comes back to this scene!

  • If you are a fan of Colin Firth you can follow my twitter account @justCOLINFIRTH :) hope to talk to you.

  • I loved this scene in the book!!

The man behind the wet shirt, haha! :D

  • Gosh... I don't understand what they're saying! I love how british accent sounds, but I can't understand it! >.< Why did I have be mexican? xD

  • @nudoruG23 Sorry, I don't have a transcript :( If you've read the interview in the book it's very close to that.

  • @nudoruG23 (1) Hola.

  • @missineichen (9) >>> No me acuerdo. Seguramente.

>>> No pasa nada. >>> Ha sido un placer conocerte. Al fin. Una pregunta mas: sabes cuando tenias la camisa mojada? >>> Si. >>> Eras consciente, de que se te marcaban las tetillas? >>> Encantado!!! >>> Adios.

  • @nudoruG23

Entrevista de Bridget Jones a Colin Firth (subtítulos en español)

busca en ese título, yo también soy mexicana y me encanta el acento británico.

  • God she us so annoying

  • "The complexe man behind the wet shirt" ROFLMAO :)))) Renee is a riot as Bridget!

  • Caaan't stop laughing! This is just sooo funny!

And the part when Renee's saying "she's italian", thinking of Colin's co-star in Love Actually portuguese Lucia Muniz, Renee's obviously meaning Colin's italian wife Livia. So damn funny!

  • For anyone who has seen Bridget Jones The Edge of Reason, I think you will find this ironically hilarious not only because Colin Firth actually PLAYS the part of Mark Darcy (strangely close to Mr. Darcy) but because of the comic animosity BETWEEN the actors Colin Firth and Hugh Grant evident in this "interview" by Colin Firth's "comments" about Hugh Grant in Love Actually

  • @DJDormee I don't think the animosity is real :) I think they totally play it up.

  • @sandrafaith I agree... it's pretty funny... have you watched any of the other bonus features on The Edge Of Reason DVD? You must have. Great stuff! :)

  • @sandrafaith I agree :)

  • this is totally cute

  • If you read the book this is part of it

  • ahahaha I bet I'd react just the same :D

  • I bet he gets that all the time, people asking him about Mr. Darcy! I know I would if I met him!

  • "no, no. fortunately it's the only time ive had to simulate an erection" ---> then his priceless expression of weary exasperation at 2:36 hahahah <3

  • hahahha i love colin's expression after he says "she's portugese" & bridget replies at 1:25 "well you'd never be able to tell" (he looks rather disturbed lol

  • hahahah i love colin's wtf??? expression :) What a gorgeous man

  • I had to stop watching at 0:30, at "the complex man behind the wet shirt", I was already laughing too hard.

Wouldn't we all be like this in Colin's presence, though?

  • fantastic, I thought this was impossible to do, since colin firth plays mark, but I love that they made it as a dvd special. Brilliant!!! I laughed so much when I read this interview in the book, and it's great to see it done by these two amazing actors. it's a pity she didn't ask the 'what is your favorite dessert?' question, though.

  • @Mayo271 btw it's probably creme brulee ;) In an interview unrelated to bridget jones, colin was asked "what turns you on?" & he replied "creme brulee"

  • Of course, the really depressing thing is that Bridget's still conducting a better interview than most of those dreadful pieces of plastic on the red carpet during awards time.

  • You know, the pathethic thing is, I probably would ask those same questions if I ever met the lovely Colin Firth, lol!!

  • lol, She said 'Mark Darcy' when talking about him as MR Darcy.

  • Wait.... when she's talking about the skript, she says "Imagine that Mark Darcy..." Was that an accident? XD Or was that on purpose?

  • This is so funny!!!

  • lol this was hilarious.. i only watched the pride and prejudice tv series after reading about bridget jones' obsession with it..

  • THIS IS HILARIOUS!

  • Interviewing Colin...being just there itself...this was every womans dream since watching him in P & P ....

  • this is hilarious.. love for colin firth<33333

  • Why in God's name didn't they get a British actress to play Bridget?

  • @littlescratchykitty I sincerely can't think of anybody who would have been a better Bridget than Rene. And I'm british. Maybe it's just cause I've seen it so many times, but when I think of all the silly things see does, I just see myself. I think that's the secret to Rene Zellweger. Fantastic.

  • I wonder if he got to keep that shirt...

  • I think it's brilliant how well Colin Firth plays himself :')

  • OMG I've never heard that about the stage notes. That's hilarious XD Set in a script for such a modest period drama like P&P. LOL

  • @AkiraChan24 hahaha yeah thats why liz was staring at his crotch when he was out of the water lol!

  • GOD!!!! I'd never seen this and it's sooo funny. Whenever I see Rene on screen I will always think of Bridget. Such a fantastic caracter. I think practiaclly everybody must know a Bridget. That's why she's so likeable!

Fantastic actress and Colin? Now off to see the wet shirt part again!! Thanks for reminding us Bridget!!

  • rotfl x'D

    Freaking hilarious!

  • this is a scene from the book which is why its actually funny... they should have just stuck to the book instead of ruining the 2nd movie so badly. They turned her into an imbecile instead of a lovable klutz.

  • This is the best ! Colin is great n sooo funny.

  • THIS IS HILARIOUS! BUT I DO NOT GET THIS.. IS IT ON THE DVD'S SPECIAL FEATURES?

  • @IAMWHOIAM237 It's on the special features for the second film, _Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason_, at least it was in the US. I can't speak for other regions' releases, though.

  • @sandrafaith The fact that this scene was omitted is one of the reasons I didn't like the second movie. This is one of my favourite scenes in the book. I was dying to see Colin Firth play Colin Firth.

  • Comment removed

  • @IAMWHOIAM237 The Dutch DVD has the special features too!!

I so do love this extra!!!

  • oh come on, she's only asking what we're all thinking. haha XD this scene is almost exactly like i imagined it in the book, 'cept maybe her sounding a little more "bothered" and a little more liable 2 lapse into staring and drooling at Mr. Darcy/Colin Firth

  • it´s funny :)

  • PS_It's funny how Colin said once to have been happy that in Italy P&P series never arrived...So when he lives here, he finally feels free from that "good burden of popularity", LOL! ;-P)

  • i loved this!

"you know in the wet shit scene...."

  • I love Renee Z. She's a great actress. I love Bridget Jones's diary. I am thinking of reading the book. How is it compared to the movies?

  • @LaDy2rNeR The first book is a bit different than the movie; there is an entire subplot regarding her mother (and Julio/Julian, who is not a television presenter but a smooth operator) that is cut out of the film but in the end I think the changes helped to tighten the plot a bit. I definitely recommend the book.

  • @LaDy2rNeR On the other hand, the second book I feel is far superior to the movie. It would probably take me an entire page's worth of comments to explain the differences and what I don't care for about it.

  • @LaDy2rNeR

    i love the books.

i would recommend you reading it. they're great :)

  • OMG! This was hilarious! Thank you for posting this vid! I love the part when Colin Firth says, "Everybody was great in Love Actually", except for Hugh Grant."

  • @loveforlovesake Yes, I love the playful rivalry those two...

  • haha lol i luv it "did you know your nipples were showing through?"

    "Lovely to meet you"

    LOL

  • Hahhaa ::D I love that book and movies!

  • haha! FANTASTIC!!!

  • this is very funny... but what is eor?

  • @fradigre forget the previous question!!! I know!! :))

  • @fradigre the edge of reason. it's the title of the second bridget jones movie

  • EPIC!!!

  • i hate bridget, she is so stupiddddd and funny....

  • Ah!!! I need the translation in Spanish!!!! Fool me!!

  • I love the movie, I love Bridget Jones but I love Colin Firth more!!!! My English is not good so I understand only a little. I would like a translation for this please!

  • @1970justme yeah, clever, but in what language? :D

  • @ClaraX13 I need the translation in Spanish, I said it later. Thanks...

  • delightful!

  • hahaha! brilliant!! thanks for uploading!

  • he is dreamy!!! Love him!!!! :)))

  • i love colin firth! and his crack at hugh grant lol

  • This scene is brilliant. I always thought Bridget's obsession with Mr. Darcy in was so funny in the book.

  • i LOVE this!!! hilarious!

  • HAHA this was so funny, your shirt off lol

  • Love this.

  • Hahaha. Thanks for uploading this. I love it! I read the book YEARS ago and I don't remember this scene, but it's hilarious. It's a pitty they couln't include in the movie. Of course, with Colin playing Mark, it was impossible to do so, but I'm glad they filmed it anyway.

  • he's lovely, love the way, that everytime he tries to talk about the film shes just aksk another question <3

We all the him just the way he is <3 ;)

  • Oh yes. :D

  • Colin plays this brilliantly, the look of disbelief and ridicule he gives her and his pained expression of trying not to laugh is brlliant.

  • Indeed! What a sport for playing along.

  • @sandrafaith he seems the type to play along with anything. not stuffy at all.

  • @ericnfan Oh, I agree! :)

  • lmfaooo what a fangirl interview <3

  • she's so ridiculous! LOL.. so funny.

  • lmao. i love bridget jones and colin firth! he's so dreamy! =P

  • There was a scene in P&P where Darcy wakes up and looks down the shits, makes u wonder...

  • In pride and prejudice which is the erection bit? I don't remember it

  • supposedly the part when jane is sick and elizabeth comes from walking all the way from her house to their mansion place....idk.....

  • did u know that you nippels were showing

it was great to meet u bye

it happend so fast it was so funny

  • OMG it's totally completely too FUNNY!!! =)

i can't but watch it again and again!!! the WET SHIRT :D :D

the "wet shirt" seems to be an unforgettable piece (the most important) of English TV history!!!! i'm sad that , being italian, i couldn't live these historical moments directly =) =)

oh, i really like Renee, but Colin... he's soo sexy and **fascinating**!!!!! impossible not to luv him!!!

  • that was hilarious!!! love both of them!!!

  • What a lovely thing and above all what a charming man is Colin Firth. My God...

  • Oh, you said it. <3

  • Whoa! I like just read the interview in the edge of reason book today! this is hilarious!

  • Serendipity! Synchronicity! It was meant to be! :D

Glad to have been part of it.

  • Did you notice att he end of the interview (in the book) they mention struggling, do you think Bridget Jones tried to kiss him??? I laughed so hard after reading the interview, it is probably the on of the best parts of the book!

  • Colin Firth is really good to be able to sport that deadpan expression through one of the most fangirlish interview ever conducted. And if I were her, I'd probably refrain from washing that hand for as long as I can.

  • He is a good sport about it... I believe the original interview that appeared in the _Edge of Reason_ book (which is mostly what this was based on) was really an interview Helen Fielding conducted with Colin Firth for the purpose of inclusion in the book.

  • You know what's amazing about this interview you uploaded that I didn't say in my previous comment? I've actually read a transcript of it quite a few years ago. I never thought I would be able to watch it, since I don't have cable TV. So thanks so much for this. It was more of a riot to actually see Renee totally fangirled over "the hand that touched Mr. Darcy's" than just reading about it. I absolutely love her as Bridget, really.

  • OMG That was hysterical!!! I can't stop laughing!

  • yup, that's probably how an interview with Colin Firth would go down if I was conducting it.

  • me too.

  • Yes... me too. ;)

  • me too :) "so the scene where you were in the wet shirt..." lol

  • My thoughts exactly.

  • lol i love this :) It's so funny. 0:33 he says 'yes' very sexily ;)

  • @LipglossAndBlackk08 yeah he does. it is too funny that she keeps talking about pride and prejudice.

  • this is incredible!!

  • 2:11...she calls him Mark Darcy, but in P & P his name is Fitzwilliam Darcy!

  • Freudian slip? :D

  • jajajajajajajaja

  • That is too good. If I were ever to meet him I imagine it going something like that. That was all very intertextual.

  • hahahahahahahahhaahahaha! :)

  • Her laugh at 2:27 sounds like she (as herself) wasn't expecting that answer from Colin. Haha

  • ahahaha geniale!! semplicemente geniale!! But they speak too fast and I don't completely understand everything they say :'(

  • Love this

  • I love it, it's so funny:)

  • has anyone done the quiz on the dvd yet im a mark darcy girl brill

  • I don't have this quiz;(;( but I love Collin as Mark Darcy<3333333333

  • She says MARK Darcy! haha

  • "It was funny, in places, apart from Hugh Grant..." xD

"With Mr. Darcy -laugh- Colin Firth" xD

  • I love this scene. It is a shame they couldn't find a way to get it into the movie. In the book it is hysterical.

  • Yeah indeed! When I read the book i was so curious how they were EVER going to look colin firth different from colin firth:P And I wonder, is this like the real Colin Firth is?

  • Klasse =)

  • me encantan bridget jones y collin firth

  • when did the nipples part and Mark darcy come up in clip? at what time?

  • 喜欢Colin Firth 两次成功的扮演Mr Darcy 帅死啦!!!! MAN ! I love this guy!!

  • lol its so funny that she just keeps repeating herself thinking that it would eventually make sense. "spored his own gender..." ha.

omg the smelling her hand bit!!! i'd probably do the same thing. lol.

  • hehe, i laughed so much at that =]

  • He's hot <3333

  • You gotta LOVE Colin Firth :D

    Makes me drool... <3

  • OMG hilarious:D priceless:)

  • очень здорово..спасибо :))

  • I LOVE IT!!!!!!Both of them are great..Colin's looks are so damn funny!!

  • Peacemaker Lmao

  • HAHAHA,

'The complex man behind the wet shirt.'

    CLASSIC.

  • colin firth is very hot

  • Very funny, but the interview that Helen Fielding did pretending to Bridget Jones interviewing Colin Firth (in is also in the second book) was a lot funnier.

  • loool that waas great! I haven't seen the pride and prejudice series till few days ago and was always wondering what it is about Colin Firth... Now I understand *hehe* I caught myself imagining an interview with him and i was asking very similar questions :D stupid me

  • ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha !!! LMAO!! i love this!!

i cant believe they did this!! lol Bridget Jones is such a dork!! lol your nipples were showin threw!! lol

  • LMAO IM STILL LAUGHING! and its so funny, cuz in real life they are actually friends lmao

  • That's sooo hilarious! Bridget's such a dork LOL

    Oh Colin... always perfect!

  • ha ha ha .... he hates her :)

  • he doesnt hate he. he doesnt hate his fans. he just would prefer to be called Darcy all the time, and asked about the wet shirt.
