i saw a picture of ps1 and it got my interest because i saw some icons i know from the newer ps versions but seeing this i am actually amazed what was already possible back then.
I just downloaded this for my Macintosh LC II, which has a 16-bit color display. It turns out that Photoshop 1.0.7 fully supports 16-bit color, so I'll have to make a video of it here soon.
wow... amazing... this is the oldest photoshop. it's parts of graphic design history. I can imagine how difficult to learn photoshop at first time, moreover the 1st one. T O P BGT...
It don't matter which software are people using. If they are talented designers or photographers. Photoshop 1.0 wont cause an obstacles even if it only has 2% of the settings that the modern CS4 has.

I didn't expect it to be that powerful. You were really able to do a lot of of stuff with PS back then.

are those original files saved as .psd? if so, would you be able to open them in like CS4 for example?

It's .pct, as can be seen in the window title.

@nabsandshark I asked if that could be saved as a .psd, I wasn't talking about its current file format, but thanks anyway.
