i went to hunt this past year and it was my first and last year there. i was in this chorus. mixed-- we went to dc and blew many choruses away... there are no words to describe how hard we worked to hold up the 30 yr national championship tradition and we did. it was our teacher's final year there, the only teacher to teach chorus at james b hunt high. was viewed as difficult sometimes but she was the best teacher anyone could ever have and she cared immensely about her students. as alumni -- cl

this is a high school choir!?! i agree with bellalyrica: this sounds better than any of the collegiate or adult choirs on here. the basses are RARELY out of tune in this (I have perfect pitch and attended Appalachian State University), the sopranos aren't sharp at the "shout" part, and the choir as a whole blends VERY well. this choir director must be amazing: i would love to meet her and congragulate on such a wonderful piece. she must be an amazing singer b/c she seems to understand the choir.
