  • You don't have a fan shroud.. It's not channeling the air pulling it through the radiator, without the shroud its just pulling air from the sides of the fan and engine bay. If you're overheating on hot days, that's why.

  • I RECOMEND YOUR GUYS,SOME THING REALY IMPORTANT: BEFORE CLOSE TRUNK, VERIFY,NO ONE HAS THE HANDS TOUCHING THE CAR,OR INSIDE THE MOTOR, SOMEONE CAN GET HURT. NEED TO BE MORE CONCIOUS

  • LOL drain Cock

  • what da hell? really?

  • pokemon music ?

  • you should stick your hand in the fan while the cars running that's a vital step

  • The constant video pauses are so annoying

  • Dude wanted to shut the hood without making sure everyones hands were clear of it.. Lol

  • FORGOT-- WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO WITH THE OLD FLUID. IT KILLS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This isn't a "flush". It is just a drain and refill. Gosh I even know that. By the way where do you put the jack stands? I don't know. I am female and not a mechanic. Guess I will take it to my mechanic, although you guys look like you are fun loving, but no way would you do my radiator. CARRY ON!!!!

  • @debmiz1 They said to run straight water with that additive before drainging and refilling with fresh coolant

  • nice song

  • You forgot to bleed it...

  • lol, i love that. "if its rusted, its busted"

  • Where exactly coolant go in the engine?

Does it run all around moving parts or just around where the fuel is burnt?

  • Why is his boyfriend in the trunk?

  • No Offense, but if you want a classic mustang, go with a fastback...coupe's are nice and all and it's a nice car you got but they are more of a chicks car lol

  • That fan seems to have a slight wobble to it

  • I love that Mustang...what year is it? I have a 90 Mustang that has 270,000 miles and runs like a dream. XD Just gotta fix the over heating issue Already installed new pump and therm O stat...I'm thinking it needs flushed. Anyways great job.

  • Is this San Andreas? Grove Streeet BITCH!!

  • lol let me guess, Los Angeles?

  • @prod1gy3000 haha yea i live close to LA

  • @prod1gy3000 Love the straight 6, I have a 67. It may not blow the doors off, but it purrs like a kitten and gets fantastic mileage. So easy to work on too. you can change the starter and never have to climb up under it.

  • DAMNIT... my drain pan is GREEN. i got to go back to fuckin autozone.

  • maybe not a perfect vid but very helpfull and entertaining! you guys are what youtube was made for!

  • danng nice car

  • i have a 71 mach 1 =]

  • HAHAHA! That's a nice pet you have. Onto my question..

Is there a cheapo way to clean out the rust and sludge deposits safely? Like adding Ajax or some other household degreaser without compromising hoses and seals and internal workings? Thanks, i love you.

  • dose it have to be yellow????

  • @YehItsMyCRF omg are you serious lol lol lol i don't think you can use ajax dude I wish it was that way lol lol omg hahahahahah pretty funny though

  • after you said so after that you shouldve got some icecream lol

  • @kr3wskater4life

yea that would have been funny

  • @crazybunta7 should supercharge that bad boy!

  • @kr3wskater4life yeah i thought the icecream truck was funny coming out of no where lol

  • I hope no one follows this exactly the way you did it or they will ruin their engine.

It looks like you didn't add any water with the radiator flush. You need to fill up the whole cooling system with the flush solution + water.

You never drained the flush + water solution and never refilled the cooling system with coolant.

It looks like you just poured in a small container of flush solution, then drive off.

Your engine would soon seize up.

Check lower radiator hose & the heater hoses, too.

  • @sunwire54 I was just gonna say the same thing, they put the flush shit in and didnt drain it and put coolant in?

Def need to do that. and if you flush your coolant system its also a good idea to change your thermostat...

its sad that only one person caught this, i wonder how many ppl will fuck up their cars doing what they say.

  • @sunwire54 welll at 3:18 they did write in the caption to drain the flush and refill with colant soo ummm ...yeah

  • Yikes! Be careful where you jack that think. I can't remember what it looks like under the front of a 60s Mustang, but on a newer car, that is right about where the lower core support is. Not a good spot to jack and could crush the radiator. Sweet car though.

  • @specialross77 yea i know we made sure. Thanks

  • that is hilarious that the ice cream truck went by, you guys should have shouted for them to stop & buy some ice cream.

  • do you have to run the heater while you have the car running post flush?

  • @omivaun, its recommended to turn your heater to full heat while running the radiator cleaner. it helps clean out your heater core.

  • @crazybunta7 makes sense to me. thanks.

  • @crazybunta7

I have a 92 ford taurus gl engine 3.0 v6 and if i drive it for a couple mi nutes it would heat up instantly any suggestions ...?

  • @Alynight66

well it can be many things like your radiator, thermostat, electric fans...etc but more info is needed.

when does the overheating happen? in the morning, at night? during high or low acceleration?

  • he pulls up then a guy jumps out the trunk then when there done he gets back in that's funny.

  • I like your sense of humor, but the flush procedure could of been better.

Oh yeah.... And but a v 8 in that thing!

  • 65 mustang

  • haha kool vid

  • Rad hoses should be soft when they are hard they are bad

  • HAHAHA THE ENDING WAS HILARIOUS LOL

  • that songs awesome who doesnt love their car if it doesnt break down on them all the time?

  • All you did was drain it. This is not a flush.

  • 2:31 did he just call them butt holes?

  • god damn u dont need to jack up the car to get to the radiator drainplug. The car is not even leveled on the ground!

  • don't jack up a 66 or so mustang it's not that low to the ground, keep it level yo

  • wtf was that an ice cream truck that went by lol sounded like a ring tone. lol

  • did he just sticked his hand in the bucket full of toxic radiator fluid........

  • @castillo911 it tastes great

  • @castillo911 i dont think he even took out the fluid just an "imformative" shit video

  • @castillo911 lol mutant hand

  • @castillo911 I figured they drank it later on anyway

  • dont jack it up keep it level

  • cheap scary jackstands get some iron ones! those ones can collapse!

  • Right; that kind is for putting under trailers while parked in the campground.

  • you forgot to fill the rest of the radiator with water!

  • haha good video lol

  • a 6 in line !

it's the first time i see it on a mustang

    it's quite rare no?

  • not really rare. i have the exact same [200cid L6] in my mercury comet. i'm actually about to do a radiator flush right now

  • Those mustangs were made for 6s. It's overkill to have a v8 in em.

  • nope, most have em'

  • I got like 3 hoses coming out of my radiator and one skinny metal hose that goes somewhere. What do you suggest i do?

  • u guys did a great job on this vid! very informative. i love taking care of my vehicles and it makes me smile when i see other guys getting the same out of it. good times!

  • @valleyfever oh so you get off to another man handling his automobile?

  • @RAMONDlAZ lol I dunno if it gets me off but I'm sure the car likes it! cheers.

  • You wanna remember to do the 2 step release when you take the cap off or you'll get burned by the pressure that builds up. =]

  • nice mustang
