You don't have a fan shroud.. It's not channeling the air pulling it through the radiator, without the shroud its just pulling air from the sides of the fan and engine bay. If you're overheating on hot days, that's why.
I RECOMEND YOUR GUYS,SOME THING REALY IMPORTANT: BEFORE CLOSE TRUNK, VERIFY,NO ONE HAS THE HANDS TOUCHING THE CAR,OR INSIDE THE MOTOR, SOMEONE CAN GET HURT. NEED TO BE MORE CONCIOUS
This isn't a "flush". It is just a drain and refill. Gosh I even know that. By the way where do you put the jack stands? I don't know. I am female and not a mechanic. Guess I will take it to my mechanic, although you guys look like you are fun loving, but no way would you do my radiator. CARRY ON!!!!
No Offense, but if you want a classic mustang, go with a fastback...coupe's are nice and all and it's a nice car you got but they are more of a chicks car lol
I love that Mustang...what year is it? I have a 90 Mustang that has 270,000 miles and runs like a dream. XD Just gotta fix the over heating issue Already installed new pump and therm O stat...I'm thinking it needs flushed. Anyways great job.
@prod1gy3000 Love the straight 6, I have a 67. It may not blow the doors off, but it purrs like a kitten and gets fantastic mileage. So easy to work on too. you can change the starter and never have to climb up under it.
pfft it was the radiator coolnt we checked underneath and for some reason it was off why i have no idea wtf the people that sold me this car didn't do shit with it but now it's fine thank you
HAHAHA! That's a nice pet you have. Onto my question..
Is there a cheapo way to clean out the rust and sludge deposits safely? Like adding Ajax or some other household degreaser without compromising hoses and seals and internal workings? Thanks, i love you.
wow, that was a very clear info! thanx alot for this video guys! u guys planning to make a video on how to replace a headgasket? -i'll be waiting....har-har-har!
Yikes! Be careful where you jack that think. I can't remember what it looks like under the front of a 60s Mustang, but on a newer car, that is right about where the lower core support is. Not a good spot to jack and could crush the radiator. Sweet car though.
u guys did a great job on this vid! very informative. i love taking care of my vehicles and it makes me smile when i see other guys getting the same out of it. good times!

good job young fellas. Why I remember changing the fluid on my 68 390 fastback.
I always liked the 6 cylinders, better handling, and smooth on the highway.
Keep up the good work.

I hope no one follows this exactly the way you did it or they will ruin their engine.
It looks like you didn't add any water with the radiator flush. You need to fill up the whole cooling system with the flush solution + water.
You never drained the flush + water solution and never refilled the cooling system with coolant.
It looks like you just poured in a small container of flush solution, then drive off.
Your engine would soon seize up.
Check lower radiator hose & the heater hoses, too.
sunwire54 1 year ago 2
@sunwire54 I was just gonna say the same thing, they put the flush shit in and didnt drain it and put coolant in?
Def need to do that. and if you flush your coolant system its also a good idea to change your thermostat...
its sad that only one person caught this, i wonder how many ppl will fuck up their cars doing what they say.
mc87ss 1 year ago
@sunwire54 welll at 3:18 they did write in the caption to drain the flush and refill with colant soo ummm ...yeah

do you have to run the heater while you have the car running post flush?
omivaun 1 year ago
@omivaun, its recommended to turn your heater to full heat while running the radiator cleaner. it helps clean out your heater core.

I have a 92 ford taurus gl engine 3.0 v6 and if i drive it for a couple mi nutes it would heat up instantly any suggestions ...?
Alynight66 1 year ago
@Alynight66
well it can be many things like your radiator, thermostat, electric fans...etc but more info is needed.
when does the overheating happen? in the morning, at night? during high or low acceleration?
crazybunta7 1 year ago
he pulls up then a guy jumps out the trunk then when there done he gets back in that's funny.
