:O That song has been in my head since I was little but I never remembered which movie it was until now, thank you for uploading - finally I know where the song in my head comes from xD
@The Clemming Even my Norwegian-speaking German friends find the "Kamelåså"-sketch funny. I think the one projecting, or more exact, denying, here is you. Written Danish is no problem at all. It is when one has to decipher the vocal sounds it gets troublesome.
at home we got a big book with some old stories about norse mythology. i was really surprised when i discovered this cartoon follows one of the stories i read :) it doubles the fun aswell :D
@d0dge25 That sketch is only funny to Norwegians because Norway has an issue with language identity . Modern Norwegian culture has huge focus on language and removing Norwegian from its Danish origins - Nynorsk? Which is fine
Danes don't find that sketch funny because they don't recognize the language debate from society. Norway is suffering from an inferiousity complex towards Denmark. Especially languagewise. Projecting your own issues on others is always good theraphy.

I think Giants is the wrong translation?
Isn't "Jætter" translated to Jotun in english?

@n1ll3r It translates to Ettin.

Are there frat houses using Runic, rather than Greek, letters? Because I think that's what this is.

Det er Preben Kristensen der lægger stemme til Loke. Det overrasker mig at så mange ikke kan høre det :P

What does the giant say starting at 3:02 when he pulls the pig out of the pot? That part wasn't given subtitles.
doobiesmoke15 1 year ago
@doobiesmoke15 Either "kan du huske far" (remember daddy?) or "kan du huske Quark" (remember Quark?).
Tobyreinel18 1 year ago
@doobiesmoke15 To me, it sounds like he's saying "Kan du huske Quark?" (do you remember Quark?), but without including the "k" at the end of the word

@doobiesmoke15 Btw, look at 3:08 - that's the Giant's sentence.. Just delayed :)

I just came back home from a trip to Århus, and must say that the danish language is
mighty strange compared to the other scandinavian tongues.
No wonder there's a comedy sketch about how Danes can't even understand themselfs anymore - Kamlåså xD
