I wonder what happens when the PF-2 Filters are added in lower chamber and water levels rise above the PF-2 filters!

I have to ask, how in the world do those black filters do anything to filter the water? They look like they would do nothing.

The life of the filters does depend on the type of water filtered, but you're right. The savings over traditional counter top filters is very nice.

Wow...8 black Berkey filters on that unit...
2 Black Berkey elements are good for up to 6,000 Gallons of water. So this could be good potentialy up to 24,000 gallons?!? Won't need to change filters for a while.
