  • auto y bro stick all day i just got a 2012 128i 6 speed sports package sports suspension i drove a 135i u cant tell a noticable diff in the speed but u got it auto shits wackkkk

  • @masareti ya thats the only thing better your honda has.. lol

  • @ps3pat HHAAHHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT WAS HILARIOUS FUNNY THING HE COMPARED A HONDA TO TO BMW ... SMH...

  • nice, but as everyone else is saying shift just b4 6 cause the power you need for each cog ends there.

  • Sounds sick!!

  • nice =), somebody who knows that the cars max. power is at 5800rpm,.. and that it's no advantage to let em go up to >6200

  • thats some fast response from the paddle shifters

  • this is N55 with DCT yea?

Can you do a 0-62 video with Launch Control with JB3 installed?

  • 5.1 is about right no launching at 6k wont help u this engine has low end torque so that will make minimal changes.

  • @immortal4942 bmws are high end torque/hp cars my friends unlike american cars which are low end torque

  • @4everlakers24 what are you smoking the 135i produces max torque at 1500rpm

  • Good clip.

Shift at 6k next time, loose the winter tyres and you be sub 5 seconds easy!!!

If you still have the car try fitting-

    Ar catted downpipes

    Forge intercooler

Recirculation valves and a tune!!! 400+bhp and you'll beat nearly anything you'll meet on the street.

  • @milzy83

I have my summer tires back on (Runflats tho :(. I installed my tune (JB3) today so i need to get a new video for you guys =)! I think as of right now I'm doing low 4's for 0-60.

  • @chesterfan1230

i was too before i had to remove my performance mods!!!

too many speeding points on my license and insurance was kicking but butt.

Check out my 1er (it really is 1 of a kind)

  • @milzy83 There was a discussion on babybmws.net with evidence about best shift point for the 135i and the consensus was that 6,300 was the optimum shift point for best acceleration

  • @rikkiola I've dyno'd a stock 135i numerous times and the torque starts to tail off from 4500rpm with peak horsepower always between 5750rpm and 6000rpm.

Its all tail off after 6000rpm my friend.

  • @milzy83 OK dude, take your word for it that's helpful, I've just traded my Elise for a 135i so good to know how to get the best out of it!

  • @rikkiola is it an n54 or n55?

You should looki into getting a cobb access port.

It like have a tune but you can remove and add it any time you want at a push of a button. Trust me its well worth the £600 to be able to keep up with the likes of the 1m/rs3/ttrs/m3 etc ect.

  • @milzy83 Great, thanks for the feedback, will look in to these. It's an N54

  • i heard that the 135i can push out 0-60 in as little as 4.7sec

  • yeah but when you shift it goes way down and you have even less. the key is to even it out that's why an automatic goes to the redline.

  • @chris000089 trust me on these cars they have my power at 4500 then at 6500+... I did 1/4 mile and i was able to get a 4.4 0-60 shifting at 6500

  • Why do you shift so early?

  • @chris000089 The peak horsepower is at 6200-6500 rpm. After that there isn't as much power so you accelerate slower.

  • @chris000089 turbocharged engines don't make as much power high up as naturally aspirated engines do.

  • @wideopen704 what im trying to say is that you should be mimicking the automatic shift points

  • You could get it down to 4.8-4.9 with proper summer tires and without the passanger

  • so glad i bought this car :)

  • wow! this car is so quick!

  • It's a video so that people can get an idea of what a stock automatic 135i 0-60 is. Thanks for the useful comment buddy =)

  • @chesterfan1230 "x97reiter" is a clown. I'd dump my manual 540 for an auto 135 in about 5.09 seconds. Nice car!

  • @chesterfan1230 lmao! don't sweat it. Sick ride!

  • @x97reiter Exactly! that and the 0-60 times. The steptronic has proven itself to be more efficient and faster at shifting then a manual. Believe me I know because I've owned this car in both transmissions.

  • yes, it is lightning quick. Great for urban driving and you'll never mis-shift in a drag.

  • nice run especially for it being in the snow. Try it in DS mode next time.
