  • Late 80's cover from Robin Wright (actress?) is there any video exist?

  • 0:15 isn't the same chair used in the Lisa Loeb 'Stay' video ?????????????

  • Still can't believe I swapped this record for 'Videotheque' when I was a teenager. My so-called friend saw this fool coming! Classic track - the finest Dollar moment of them all.

  • oh my gawd...memoriiiiiiies!

  • I love this song and "You Made Me Love You".

  • i love this song

  • thereza and a box of tissues is where i sort my sexual issues lol

  • ahhh Thereza.....me ,her, some tissues, now THAT was a good night in for a 14 yr old lad back in the day

  • THIS SONG IS SO ROMANTIC,makes me fall in love with dvd all over again.....wish he was singing this to me..eden.xxxxx

  • Dollar were very much of the moment when cheesy pop ruled and they had the looks and charm to sell records. There voices were pretty good too despite all the heavy record production. Alas Theresa Bazaar now I believe lives in Australia and David Van Day is still flipping burgers from his van somewhere on the south coast. ( As seen on TV )

  • I love dollar, they were great, Made some lovely songs.Brings back happy memories of when I was a school kid Iwish they would start performing again.

  • its frightening to think we all kissed the face off many a woman to this.. But all those years.. where they gone??

  • Very romantic who fell in love with this song?

  • Not me. However, I do remember pretending to like it just so I could finger a girl in the corner or the disco.

  • Youre a male then?

  • You have some pretty decentmusic on your list.

  • thank you so much. I enjoy the music for the right mood.

  • I prefer Motorhead...

  • I remember snuggling with my girlfriend in the youth club and watching this on Top Of The Pops. GOOD TIMES !! Whatever happened to my England? We have turned into a third world cesspool. How sad :(

  • I agree with you mate happy times ,unfortunately back then , I did not have a girlfriend but watching Therese on totp was great . Britain is becoming a third world cesspool very sad

  • I agree with you, we have let this country go to the dumps, we had hundreds of years of great history with so many young me giving up their lives to make britain the envy of the word, now we have thrown everything away in the last thirty years.

  • David was only acting like a spoilt brat I think, Fastsky34

  • I liked David's fantastic hairstyle

  • Sorry but the fact that He is on some cheesy Brit TV show is Quite pathetic and sad. Yes , he did help make some nice lightweight pop back in the day,but honestly , is it not a little sad that these ex pop stars need the spotlight so badly again that they will humiliate themselves on SHITE TV shows.

  • You're actually very wrong . Listen to the recorded version of this song , it is a very big polished production . What is lightweight pop is your typical 4 piece band ...all that's there is guitars bass & drums and about 5 chords . If you really think about it , everything that is considered cool , is really infantile on a musical theory level .

  • Dont get me wrong, i think Dollar and Trevor Horn made some great records period. I just feel sad when i see artists having a hard time with letting go of the spotlight. Why not tour again or put out solo stuff. In regards to the lightweight comment ,it was not meant as a negative connotation. Relax!!

  • i LOVE YOU AS WELL

  • this was a good hit in its day....still is.!!

  • I hope you are reading this Mr Van Day... you are a fat, bloated, cheesey, w****r. Not only are you extremely rude and self obsessed. You are a talentless tosser. Thank god it's not still the 80's!!!

  • NICOLA IS THE RUDE ONE HE HE HA AH

  • Can you send me this please I cant find it anywhere on limewire or imesh or anywhere

  • Just googled Timmy Mallet's art and I was really impressed. He is a brilliant artist and some of his stuff is very similar in style to Van Gogh- this is obviously why he has the typical artistic temperament and why he thinks outside the box!

  • He thinks he is there because people like him, the people that think he is funny most likely think Jim Davidson is funny and think 80's greed was great.Joe,Simon or Martina to win. Brian out because he is a snake.

  • Timmy's conversations with David are hilarious - when they were discussing Brian's potato trial and saying he'd gone mad with being in the jungle too long! Classic. These two should be kept in for entertainment value!

  • TOTALLY SHIT, WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT NOISE COMING OUT OF HER MOUTH?? ah ah ah! jesus!

  • i see brian paddick crawling round that bloke from blue, tosser.

  • david looks like a recovering substance abuser on celebrity jungle, an that jordan clone does sound like catherine tates granny.lol.hate these plastic fake bimbos ne way..no depth to them...like the way the coon hangs round the bimbo's tho..funny

  • Glad to see David standing up to tart with no heart Nicola. She is a boring, tired old bimbo. She looks just like Catherine Tate's granny character!

  • They are as bad and shallow as each other, both utter nobodies..He must be embarassed singing next to Simon Webb, who can sing at least. I hope Timmy goes and Martina brings him down a peg or two though both of them are for bigger stars than David ever will be and were in the 80's too. Timmy would be ok with out David though.

  • Unfortunately, Martina has been as dull as dish water and just hangs around looking superior and bored.

This isn't about who is the biggest star, it's about entertainment value. Again. Simon has been a terrible bore, and has not exactly been a hero in the trials. Timmy and David are funny, eccentric and entertaining- just what I'm a Celebrity is all about!

  • Have you been watching a different show?

I have yet to hear Martina coming out with any witty one-liners. George is funny, witty and entertaining-but I've been disappointed in Martina.

Yes, David's exploding cake was funny but seeing Nicola's mangy cake-hole exploding would be real cause for mirth!!!

  • David was not rude- some of the other contestants were rude to Timmy and him on their arrival at camp.

Joe, a sensible, down to earth cockney, had noticed how badly David and Timmy were being treated and spoke out like a man.

I have never heard David shouting at anyone- he has a quiet manner and I don't think he is any more selfish than anyone else in camp.

Now that Joe has cleared the air let's see what the real David is like. Homophobic- LOL-that's why he wanted to share a bus with George.

  • It was Brian that stirred it up, by talking to Martina, then not backing her up, when she argued for him, he delibrately provoked Joe too, mentioning fear of Martina and Nicola, he lied about them. Wow a lying politian! As for David and Nicola, they were both to blame and he got selfish, possessive and ruder. He is a self obsessed, money obsessed greedy bastard, read about his Buck's Fizz antics.# He was running as a Tory Councillor is online. Selfishness is rude.

  • Me too...

David to go out tonight! Takei to take the title!

  • OMG! completely forgot this song.... too busy wanting to be Therese Bazar in the gold dress (Mirror Mirror top of the pops appearance). God, I'm old!!

  • I don't know why, but I love this song =(

  • Man, I loved Thereze soooooo much. Now Mr Day is on "I'm a celebrity" I bet his is going to get so many more views! God he looks awful now!

  • He's proved what a complete arse he is, unfortuntely. Or fortunately, depending on how you see it.

  • Another end of the evening smoocher - you can only appreciate the layered Trevor Horn by playing a crisp vinyl copy on a decent record player. You had to be there!

  • Did she ever manage to suck his COCK?

  • One of those songs you had to be there for at the time to really appreciate - at least that's the excuse I give my 18 year old son when he looks at me in abject horror!

  • Maybe when he has your grandchildren he'll have to cringe with embarrasment trying to explain to them some of the music he likes

  • J'm pleased to leave my congratulations for

this other video:nothing else that happiness

to see and hear again this song J believed in

    1982. Louis S from France

  • pure syrup, i feel sick....

  • therase looks like a young Jayne Mansfield here

  • Therese looks like my old Sindy doll *has weird flashback*

  • love it!!oh!! how life seems to rush past!!!!xx

  • ooh, that breakdown at the end still sends tingles down my spine. it's the only excitement i get these days.

  • What a great decade. Doesn't he now run a burger van in Walthamstow or is that the guy from Bucks Fizz????

  • Yes, this is Burger Van Day... he wasn't in the original Bucks Fizz lineup but he joined later, much later, and then there was a big hoo-hah between him and Bobby G about the use of Ver Fizz's name.

God, I am so sad to be knowing this, lol

  • mik300z Nice to see someone else misses the analogue in music. New tracks can sound ok but never seem to have that warmth.

  • Oh god, I miss it too. Most of my LPs are from the 70s and early 80s and they have a certain meaty quality about them that you just don't get these days.

  • Thanks for the vid, one of my favourite pop songs ever, so sweet you need a visit to the dentist after it!

  • I understand that this is another Razzamatazz appearance. Did they always have the kids waving their arms in the air on that show?

  • Dollar were cheezy as hell but had some great songs.Thereze was such a fox....

  • 1 of the reasons why I stayed up late waiting to be aired over the radio...I was crazy bout this...and I still luv it!!Bring back memries..of the good ol' 80's!

  • likeable shite !!! can relate to below now ive been told ...

  • Something for the nerds out there....

A lot of late 70s and early 80s music was produced in studios that used a lot of analogue synthesizers and effects, warm and fat sounding Moogs, Prophet 5's, Jupiter 8's and so on.

Did you notice the change from good to very shit music after about 1986...Digital studios!

Mode, Human League, Kraftwerk all used analogue, hence the amazing sounds.

  • well said that man and so true! Although digital synths came in around 82? but guess your right, the studios took a few years to catch up and throw out all their analogue gear, I feel ill thinking about it. Very few songs of the last 15 years compare to the warm recordings of the late 70's early 80's.

  • funny, nowadays the image takes precedence over the music. Here, and in their other stuff, the music is so much better than the image(ok, they tried). 'Hand held in B&W' and 'Mirror Mirror' are up there with some of the best 80's

  • Who dont remember the time, when we were hunting the girls on the disco - to this kind of misic.... oh lala

  • this sugary piece of bubblegum music hasn't dated at all.

  • this would melt the coldest of cynical hearts.

  • what show was that on.i was on razzmatazz as a kid hopin to find it on you tube had no luck so far they where on with bucksfizz anyone help ...plzzzzz

  • BRILLIANT!!

  • I will my heart back, too.

    Only only BROKE it !

  • are you on drugs?

Can you actually speak or write coherently in English?

    Fuckwit..

  • Yes, I was drunken.

    And I am German .

GO BACK to your island !

  • You like Boyzone - oh dear!

  • just been watching pop years and they were on it so thought id dig this one out.OMG.i was 14 when this was released.took me back i can tell you.

  • yo darwin chua!...remember this song?..you played it on your party..we were in U.E...miss you all friends!...wishin you all the best!

  • Totally different beat Alberto you old boiler!

    Funny though ;)

  • they were good to listen to.i still like listening to them .

  • This song was one of my favourites 25 yrs ago !!

  • I clicked on this for a laugh, cos we all used to take the mickey out of these two, but it aint that bad! Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to rush out and buy the CD, but at least I didn't ROTFLMBO (just LMBO!)

  • ... loved this - and, if you can, find "Pink and Blue" - a great Dollar song!

  • Ah, Dollar on the Tyne Tees pop programme Razzmatazz!

  • livened the old kindling fires

  • Totally trash video, beautiful touching song, great powerful production, sweetly sung, and topped, as always, by the sensationally gorgeous Thereza Bazar.

  • I liked the song better than the video.

  • nice

  • The single has a talking element at the end that adds even more drama and is the best bit. Buy it.

  • A great classic .

  • Great memory from the early eighties. Only available on cd for the first time early 2006. Mirror Mirror is also a great track. Pity they dont talk anymore

  • I think they do now

  • Fantastci! Thanks!

  • A perfect pop classic! Trevor, brilliant work!

  • 10CCs Im not in love rip off

  • @Albertobalsam Eh??! Sorry but you've totally lost me there!! Dont get that at all?

  • Ah the childhood memories. Thanks for that version of the video, VH1 show a differant version of the video. But that's the one I remember.

  • horrible

  • I absolutely love this song, and never before today saw the video. I can't say I dig the video as much as the song itself, but THANK YOU for posting this! :)

  • yes a real trashqueen

  • AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC BEAUTY!
