This is a video taken during flights for WHO's ONCHO (later APOC) program. During the dry seasons of 2003 and 2005 we sprayed all the rivers of Bioko killing the larvae of the black fly which transmits river blindness. This was an extension of the decades long (now finished) ONCHO program throughout West Africa. The waterfall at the beach is near the mouth of the Moaba river on the south of the island. 3 pilots; American, Kiwi and Portugese, flew on Bioko accompanied at times with WHO officials.
