Alabama is more of a Liberal Arts school. I can't stand Auburn fans but I do respect the quality of education that their University provides.

It is difficult for me to understand the hatred that both sides have for each other, and there is no way that it makes any sense. Both fans make it sound like the other is something less than human.

I have a lot of friends that grew up Auburn fans and we are just very interested in our teams success and the rivalry usually determines that because it is at the end of the season. We more or less just hate the feeling of losing to each other.

There really isnt any "hatred" involved, its the competition and traditional rivalry that comes with having fans mixed in with each other all over the state of Alabama.
