So this was 2009 . . . before "freedom's light" began "burning warm" in former(!) dictatorships overseas. It's great that the American Spirit of political & economic freedom spreads wider every day. While this one nation can't provide a better life for everyone on our own shores, we CAN & SHOULD CONTINUE to share our knowledge & money so ALL our global neighbors may find their native countries have become "new & shiny place(s)." Peace & Love to ALL from a 30+ year anti-hunger volunteer.
Instead of bickering; why not appreciate what is posted and agree to disagree.
I've come across some who are .....um; how can I say this, who want to be heard. These people want to be accepted as part of a whole segment while voicing they're options.
Preferential taste do classify as option, that is to be respected.
To quote my deceased grandmother, "if you argue with someone; then I'll show you two foolish people."
I reread your comment Mr. Sean....your response does not even address one thing that I mentioned a week ago...if you are going to respond, make it an intelligent one...I am far from the only person who thinks what I stated...you are not Neil Diamond....I suggest you look up some of the Neil Diamond birthday parties held in the US by fans...I imagine you would get off playing Neil Bingo, or Neilo....sorry just not my speed......or maybe this really IS Neil responding under an alias?
Have always been a Niall Diamond fan. I was at the Concert and it was unbelievable. I was in Boston celebrating my 25th Wedding Aniversary with my wife. Saw Niall Diamond in the UK 2 years ago and he looked down and out but he was great at Boston
Once again to NateSean...read my lips in response to your comment to me...I said he yells his songs and he does...look at his photos he's yelling...did I say a Bush bashing band would be better or Brittany...u r missing the point...how about Rasca Flatts, or someone contemporary...Neil can yell all he likes, he didn't make me feel like celebrating...that is my opinion and if you are personally offended I really don't care...Neil Diamond yells his songs....

Gee can Neil yell a little louder...I cannot believe that people actually consider this singing.....they should have picked a performer who would have been more with our times, and could have blown away the evening....not yelled thru it...this man could snort like a hog, and his fans would consider it singing.....the pops and fireworks were great....as I hear this, it is like chalk down a chalkboard....yuk yuk yuk
I see. So, you would rather have had a ban that continually bashed Bush or promoted politics, or maybe we need to get some Britanny Spears out there! Yeah, annorexic bimbos of the the world would really be moved by her supporting this great nation. No, no, wait. I know. We need a friggen rapper. Because jailtime and drug usage is what this country is really about.
shrek, I'll bet you are an Obama supporter. Bye the way, is his new security force going to be called the"GestapoBama", or KGBarak?? Be afraid, very , very afraid. I don't say much, but, I do see!!=Stefan=
We were on the cambridge side, with all the speakers set up it was almost like being at the actual concert. It was our first time in boston on the fourth, and it won't be our last!
When I was watching Neil Diamond sing Coming to America last night, I saw a woman with a white tanktop, and the tanktop said "I ♥ Neil", THAT WAS MY MUSIC TEACHER!!!

Oh, wait. I understand what it is. You wanted to be in his band but you got rejected?
I'm sorry man. That's so sad, but you know, that's just show biz. I know. A lot of kids wanted to be the next American Idol but it just wasn't you.
