It is correct. Mary is the Mother of God. If we accept that Christ is God, then it´s obvious that Mary is the Mother of God. As it came from the Early Christians, the Theotokos doctrine is not specifically catholic. The Orthodox and the majority of protestants subscribe to that doctrine as well.

(1 Cor 3:9) We need to respond to God´s grace by accepting Christ. That´s the 1st step of cooperation... We have to proclaim Christ crucified.
We are also called to prayer, holiness and evangelism. That´s all part of Ccoperation and in that respect we are ALL mediators of Christ´s love and forgiveness in the world.

yes it's faith and works we both understand that? but the works are a result of faith! you first have to put your faith in the Lord before you can start to bear fruit. someone who is dead in their sins can't bear fruit unto the Lord! it's by the grace of God that one gets saved. nothing you do, all your "good works" will not get you saved! becasue whats a man if he does "good works' but doesn't have faith?

That´s why the Catholic Church, Lutherans and Methodists came up with the Joint Declaration on Justification in 1999. (Google it).
It turns out that the RCC and the 2 other churches believe the exact same thing, just the semantics are slightly different. No disagreement there then...

catholic dogma states that if any one says that salvation is by faith alone then let him be cursed. scripture says that salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone through God's grace. catholisism does not believe this. council of trent states that eternal life is a reward promised by God himself to be given to their good works and merits. eternal life in the catholic sytem is something that you earn by your works. this is totaly a contradiction to the bible. it's a different gospel!

Celibacy is not mandatory for priests but the reference to celibacy are very clearly explained by Christ in Matthew 19:9-10:
´[His] disciples said to him, "If that is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry." He answered, "Not all can accept [this] word, but only those to whom that is granted.´
Matthew 19:12-" ... because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven"

Christ gave us EXPLICIT orders to be ONE flock under ONE shepherd. The Catholic Church has done that since Christ ordered it. Centuries later, Man began to think that they knew better than Christ and started their OWN churches, which has led to over 30,000 denominations. That's expressly going AGAINST Christ teaching.
Well, as Christ says: "Whatever place does not... listen to you, leave there and shake the dust off your feet in testimony against them" (Mk 6:11)

how can the catholic church be the one true church?! they prey to and worship mary. they tell you that mary is the queen of heaven. the bibloe says that worshiping the queen of mary is worshiping a false god. Jeremiah 7:17-19. i mean,just do an image search and you can see pics of the pope bowing down before a statue of mary. Exodus 20:4-5 says you should not bow down to graven images. people have shrines to mary in their fron yards. how can that not be idol worship?!

how can you say you worship Christ but not the God. how can you say you worhsip God but dont hold fast to the scripture? your heart is still black and you cannot see that your an idolater and that if you dont repent, you'll end up in hell. the 2nd of God commandmets says: you shall not make for yourselfs any idol, nor bown down to it or worhsip it. you may not thinkg your worshiping mary, but God has already defined what idol worship is. you just choose not to beleive.

I do not worship idols...and I certainly do NOT put any god before God.
I do venerate Mary and we noticed that bowing does NOT mean worship persee, otherwise King David a.o. would be idolators, which is a wrong conclusion and would be the result of non-contextual reading of Scripture.

Where in catholic doctrine does it say to worship Mary? Catholics VENERATE (hyperdulia) Mary as did the archangel Gabriel, we do NOT worship (latria) her.
You quote Jeremiah, the prophet who was active in the 6th century BC. The verse you quote is describing the idolatry committed by the people of Jerusalem. The queen of heaven Jeremiah refers to, is Astarte the Syro-Mesopotamian goddess of war.

The Hebrew word used for queen in Jeremiah 7:18, 44:17,19,25 is Meleketh.
This does NOT refer to Mary, as the Hebrew word for queen in the CONTEXT of Mary is Gebira. Gebira is used often in relation to the Davidic kingdom. (1 Kings 11:19, 15:13; 2 Kings 10:13; 2 Chronicles 15:16; Jeremiah 13:18, 29:2) Esp in Jer 13:18 it is clear that both the King and the queen-mother are crowned! Christ is given the Kingdom of Heaven (Luke 1:32-33). The queen-mother is Mary! (Rev 12:1)

Bowing does NOT necessarily mean worship.
- King David bowed before the Temple (Psalm 138:2) Was King David an idol worshipper?
- Saul bows down to Samuel (1 Sam. 28:14). Is Saul worshipping Samuel?
- Jesus said people would bow down before the faithful members of the church of Philadelphia (Rev. 3:9). Is Jesus saying that we should worship church members?
I think it´s obvious that your interpretation of God´s commandment is not correct.

We both assume that God knows what He is doing, so therefore you have to check if YOUR interpretation of Scripture is wrong. What have christians believed over the past generations? What did the Early Church Fathers say? It´s clear that catholics do NOT worship images. And they knew Scripture better than any of us...
