  • lol i'm sure a lot of the food we buy at markets have some form of ground up bug in them. This is why we need to attack the morals and ethics of large business practices. These videos are a good start but the actual ethics vs. profits debate is where we need to focus. We can not expect to talk ppl out of being greedy so we must do something to STOP it. Or wait till we are all mindless masses poor and serving the large corporations, we are well on our way.

  • 10 cents is kind of a crappy discount. The Wawa near me discounts up to 50cents depending on cup size (12-24 ounces) for using a reusable mug of any kind.

  • I have the solution! Join the eat local movement. Try to consume food only produced within 100miles of your home! It supports your local economy and local farmer as well as cutting down on unnecessary fuel waste from transporting produce. Buy Fresh. Buy Local! If you can't get local coffee switch to tea, local fresh herbs for yummy teas are easy to come by!

  • Yes, and why don't we start carting around with mules. lol You can support local farms without restricting yourself. It's best to encourage competition in the market. if "green" business wants people to buy, it needs to STOP guilt-tripping, and start utilizing market forces to improve efficiency to lower cost and increase demand.

    Remember that your dollar speaks and should pay for convenience, so find organizations that facilitate eco friendly living for ALL incomes and help 'em out!

  • They are doing with water fluoridation what no doctor can do to any patient. Water fluoridation goes against all modern medical practices. Water fluoridation is the mass administration of a drug (which happens to be a toxic poison) with a uncontrollable dose. Doctors have to write out a prescription for fluoride if they want a patient to take it. No doctor in his right mind could just say here take this and we have no idea how much you are going to be administered because we put it in tap water.
