im pretty sure there wasnt an opening band, i got there pretty early and i didnt see an opening band for this concert. then again i was high as a kite.
The next time NIN tour, it will be their farewell tour. Trent made a speech in Las Vegas back in December stating that for the next tour NIN will be a 4 piece & once the tour finishes that's it for good. Dates in OZ & NZ confirmed already Euro & US dates to be confirmed
I'm afraid not. The Spring/Summer 2009 tour will be their last. NIN are currently in OZ / NZ playing some festivals, then there's apparently going to be some US Amptheatre shows, then euro....then that is it. Trent will be concentrating on other non musical projects, namely the Year Zero tv show.
Because everyone is all calm, and then we get to jump around. i was at the one in NH on august 8th; if you were there it makes allot of sense. and plus its unexpected, which IS NIN.
OMFG i went to this concert tonight and i dont really know that much NIN or their members.. but seriously i could not take my eyes off of robin finck...he is the hottest thing i have ever seen so i had to go look up pics... aahhh i just wanted to tackle him
Who cares if he remasters the audio. Trent has got to put out a DVD of this tour. It is the greatest light show in history and the best concert I have ever witnessed.
trent reznor is a perfectionist. thats why there isnt any live albums out, he cant get the sound quality high enough to release it on cd. so i doubt there will be a dvd without remastering the audio.
There's one live album out called "And All That Could Have Been: Live", featuring live audio taken from the Fragility 2.0 tour. There is also a DVD with the same name, feauturing video footage from the same tour.
We also have "And All That Could Have Been: Still", which tecnically is a live album, but not featuring any audience in the original manner. There are other live releases aswell.
and trent reznor put those out or the label? if they had one at the time. i remember reading he didnt want to because he could never get it to be good enough. thus his shows are the best in the world because the sound and video is amazing
fill me in on this, wtf is the point of singing a song that you will only get to hear ONCE live. that kinda ruins the point of being there to listen to it live. doesn't it?
it normally is but sometimes people get tired of doing the same routine so they change it up a bit, i thought it worked well that show blew me away that night!
the show in Duluth, Ga (NE Atlanta) was only 1/2 full... could have been it was a midweek show that started at 7pm (well, closer to 730). I was expecting a MUCH larger turnout for one of the best visual experiences (without drugs) in my life..
fuck you, I'm flying from Alaska to see them in Knoxville, TN!!! And as I sit here in the airport there is a Volcano that is trying to fuck up my plans. Sorry, just excited, no hard feelings eh?
Holy shit, someone else from Alaska. I was lucky enough to be in Seattle for this performance, as it was on the last night of my already scheduled trip there. Good luck, and if the show is anywhere near as good as the one I saw, you're in for quite a treat.
i thought the frail/closer blend worked great together, but it pissed me off so much cuz some fat drunk guy kept yelling "ITS A SNIFFER! ITS A SNIFFER!!" during the frail.
Sometimes you have to say fuck it and go by yourself. I was in the same situation. Most of my friends don't even listen to Rock music and the rest who do listen to generic radio crap like Coldplay and Fallout boy. But I am a rabid NIN fan so I got my ticket, went by myself and had a blast.
It's great to have people there to hang out with and talk to during the intermission but when the music starts it becomes an entirely personal experience.
yea i was about but im not like 18 yet or anything so my parents were gay cause i dont live in seattle so they didn't let me go. but i still wish i did.
I wish people would just shut up and listen to the music... hahahah now that I think of it imagine how weird it would be if no one made a noise the whole show.
oh my god this was fucking beautiful but some fat drunk guy next to me kept shouting, ITS A SNIFFER! ITS A SNIFFER!! the whole time. absolutely spectacular show!
I actually liked this transition. Everyone "knows" that The Wretched should follow The Frail and that's why Closer following it was so genius. It threw you off and showed you that our man Trent has a ton of tricks up his sleeve. I approve!
This was the best concert I've ever been to. Totally wortha nin hour drive.
What the fuck NIN is not coming to Arizona? why? fuck that, they're going to Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Canada but Arizona? WTF???? Trent I think you owe me a fucking great apology. Now seriously anyone knows if they're coming????
Was there last night!!!!!!!! Came from BC Canada cause seeing them at Pemberton wouldn't nearly be enough. AMAZING show! Killer seats!!!! Absolutely unbelievable, performed beautifully, the lighting and effects were amazing and couldn't have asked for a better crowd. Oh my god, bloody unforgettable. What a show....
was expecting him to go into 'the wretched' after but this was still awesome. this was a great concert, can't wait to see them again in sept at salt lake.
I use to live in el Cafetal en caracas.. i was born there.. now i life close to Seattle, wa USA.. the NIN concer was great dude! hope u can see them in Venezuela.. COOL SHOW!! HAVE FUN!
Well, dog, I have my NIN Arena ticket already with me and I'm counting the seconds to the show. I'm really shocked at how great the vids of this concert are... this guys make each tour better than the last one (which is a lot to say).

I'm guessing flash photography was not allowed at the NIN shows? Flash would kill the effects.
But seriously I'd kill to go to a Lights in the Sky show (they are my favorite band and didn't stop by where I live)
