How about giving the artist what they've worked for and buy the actual music? Irregardless of the wealth they have. They've earned all of it for their work. If you can't afford to buy the music, then that should be your own misfortune.

To put it simply, a torrent is basically a folder that can store mass quantities of data, which is why they are very useful for downloading full soundtracks and movies. To use a torrent, or rather its contents, you just need to have a program on your computer that can open them. Limewire is the most common, but I find that "utorrent" is a much safer program (less virus prone). Any other questions, just ask.
