It's always been Lucas and Peyton. In season 1 Luke was heads over heels in love with Peyton. In season 2, Peyton was leaning more towards Jake so Lucas moved on with Brooke. It was so obvious how much of a rebound Brooke was. In season 3, there were so many hints that Lucas was still in love with Peyton...he was just too afraid to admit it. I mean even Brooke knew it. In season 4 he finally admitted to himself that he never stopped loving Peyton. So LP forever. ;)
