There is an Australian version of this film (the original, I think) that is much, much better. It conveys the exact same message without the BMW, the gorgeous house and the beautiful 'actors'. I find it so ironic that, even as this video tries to discourage teen affluenza, it becomes a billboard for the American Dream.
There's something about American television... every time it tries to make something hard-hitting and realistic, it has the opposite effect.

this is a great vid - Affluenza is an epidemic in many places, especially in America. People are getting needs and wants mixed up and not appreciating the simple things in life - happiness.
