I completely agree with you. First they spat out that watered down, distorted, somewhat minimal ed banger bullshit, and now it's pretty much all distortion. Someone please put the FUNK back in french house!
Leger has much better than this :(. Its ok but "Fat Bug" and the "Gazebo" remix are so much better! This is very pop sounding. Fat Bug in a rave club at 3 in the morning pilled out of it . . . total euphoria!!!
Main stream french house don't you mean, this sounds just like a Daftpunk mix, and given that they have done sets together it figures. I like rave, and i guess thats why i prefer the heavier leger numbers. Fat bug doesnt suck, all of legers songs are quality, even this one, but take a mitsubishi and listen to fat bug on a proper soundsystem and see if you still think it sucks that bad.
actually i know almost all his tracks...i think YOU dont' know him.what he actually makes is french-electro house....ans THIS track is rather the pure french house....
does it have to be electro house to be good music? electro/progressive/techno/tech-house is what his album is made of...the reason because hes so loved is probably because he doesnt have a straight line(except for the no vocal fact) of music and makes very good music in any house-tree...if its not this one its another one...
cant belive there are people out there who hate all his releases...
actually Daft Punk is made of two guys named: Guy Manuel de Christo Homem, and Thomas Bangalter. soooo no.. thats not him but he was part of their production team.
I personally like this era of Leger much better than his newer stuff. The french touch stuff of the mid-late 90's is some of the best house music IMO.

This is from 2002 if I'm not mistaken, and belongs to the French House genre.
A lot has happened in those 10 years but this is still a banger.

@EnzoXIII
I'm not a huge fan of Sebastien's new stuff.
Wish he'd go back to making French Touch tunes like this, Venom and Perplexity Personality.
Same goes for Alan Braxe.
Haven't liked anything of his since Vertigo. Too busy trying to fit in with Tiesto, Guetta and the Dubstep scene.

This is correct. Ishkurs electronic music guide 4tw ;)
But let's talk about planets. I wouldn't call this an electro house album, although there are some.
Jaguar isn't electro house...
Let's talk about remixes...
Apocalypse from Arno Cost & Norman Doray - no electro house...
But hey, at least it's music ;)
