Nice ride! I've got the same car (which stock is 420 hp): this means that you've tooken around 80 cv only remapping??? Have you tested it with a Dyno??

My car has been remapped too and it has around 50/60 more hp (around 470/480 hp now), but with a K&N air filter too...I've changed also the clutch (Sachs performance).

Next step will be an exaust system because I'm not satisfied about sound, comparing to my last 996 with kit sound.

They stopped making 996 turbos over 4 years ago, this video was posted up 2 1/2 years ago, and - today - one could pick up a used 190mph 996 turbo for a mere £35k...

I'm finding it hard not to interpret you comments as typical "chip-on-the-shoulder proletariat" / "We're as good as 'em" nonsense.

P.s. 924 turbo is still a "Porsche Turbo" and you could pick one of those up for <£1k. (So even you could afford one)

power to weight ration says it all nsx wud get eaten by ths car but with a little bit of tune up it wud be close or even beat this thats the thing with all jap cars for example if i had a standard evo 9 and all i did was put a biger turbo in it i am going to have 350+ hp and wud smoke vettes 1/4 thts the same with nsx and gtrs and rotorys

dude just because you throw in a bigger turbo on your evo doznt mean you will get 350hp+, it wil create the wear on your engine but without proper precautions you would probably get an extra 50hp, people are stupid, oh chuck a bigger turbo on my car and i can smoke anything, yeah right dude.

You're right in that's it's not as easy as chucking a bigger turbo on but his point about power to weight is correct. Just a quick point, in Japan the Evo has been kept to 280hp for most of it's life due to their gentleman's agreement (though this is now defunct). In the US the Evo 9/X came with 295hp. In the UK however the Evo 9 came with up to 360hp - standard and from factory. Evo X - up to 400hp, again from factory. They wouldn't do this if they weren't VERY confident about the engines!
