  • I heard that there are no trashcans around the cities because it's not acceptable to eat or drink while walking. So why would there be millions of vending machines?

  • you need to put your drivers license to buy

  • is there an age limit to alchol

  • What is the drinking age in Japan and how do they keep minors from using the machine?

  • i just lolled at the word beer jumping around!

  • Vending machines for alcohols shut down by theymselves between 12am and 6am. So, you can't get beer during the times.

  • Lol I love how it repeatably says BEER!!!

  • pta no tienen báltica =(

  • wahhh no Heineken???

  • @AndyDude1412 No.It's beer vending machine.

  • @AndyDude1412 Heineken is a type of beer

  • Onward to Japan ladies and gentlemen. We shall educate the Japanese with BEEEEEEER!!!!!

  • @ShadowGunner82 based on that comment i think the japanese will have to educate YOU with beer XD

  • beer!!!!!!!!

  • I LIVE IN LAS VEGAS YOU CAN DRINK IN PUBLIC BUT ONLY DOWNTOWN ON THE STRIP

  • Man.. if we in the US didn't steal everything that wasn't bolted to the ground, we would have vending machines like these.... Well, I'm pretty sure some people would try to steal it even if it were held down to the ground.

  • in germany you can drink what you want too!

  • i bet that machine isnt so fancy now):

  • I want to live in japan now but I don't know how to speak Japaneses

  • But you still can't drink and drive :-( Even one beer would get pretty expensive :-(

  • they have drive threw liquor stores in Arizona! :D

  • yeah but when the beer drops it gets all shook up and looses 50% of its flavor thats why they dont have beer vending machines plus in compton they will get broke into and all the beer stole plus kids will be able to buy beer bad idea

  • Who said japan is the strictest country in the world? I bought a shit load of bb guns while i was there

  • no best vending machine was the one with porn and panties

  • i wonder what's inside!

  • most epic vend machne ever!

  • In Holland they have vending machines that sell beer.(don't see to many of them). But most of there vending machines sell pot and rolling papers..plus chewing gum vending machines

  • i think im going to have a beer.

  • Japan is for those responsible people who want to get away from their countries where the government don't trust their people.

  • i wonder what the vending machine is selling

  • 100000 thumbs up for the beer machines!!!!!

  • Beer... I saw another video that was a complete adult novelty shop in vending machines and in China they have vending machines that sell live crabs.

  • how much are they in pounds over here its about 3-4 punds for 1

  • thats usefull for teenagers

  • I know there is Asahi in Japan (it can also be bought here in Austria (even though the one we get here is made in the Czech Republic)).

What kinds of japanese beer can be recommended. Do japanese people drink more lager, ale, top fermented wheat beer?

Do they also have flavored beer, they call it "Radler" here, it is partly with lemon juice, not pure beer but refreshing in summer.

I'd love to see a video on different kinds of sake. I know there is Honjouzou, Junmai.

  • haha, weird.

  • i didn't know you liked beer that much

  • @LePimp13 Are you kidding he's Australian. They put beer in the baby bottle over there.

  • when Oka-san wont buy u beer...dont cry! go to the street corner!

  • The Japanese are prob the only nation in the world who could drink responsibly in public. Do that in New Zealand and you'd be either arrested, or in a massive fight, in 10 minutes. Thumbs up to them.

  • @moyadapne Same in china. You can even drink with strangers in train and play games with them while drinking.

  • @moyadapne Don't compare NZ to other countries :-)

  • @piesior Righto then. Sorry, I forgot UK has such a fine recent record of love and harmony for their fellow man and shopkeeper.

'I dunno why I stole dat TV, 'cause I already have one in my bedroom'. Duh. And :-) too.

  • @moyadapne LOL

  • @moyadapne Whats the matter with nz? Honestly ur wrong.

  • @moyadapne Exact same thing with the United States

  • i live in canada and we love beer but no vending machjne here that does that! have too talk too my goverment!!! lol just subscribe

  • Free beer! :D Even though I don't drink because I'm only 16 and beer is nasty.

  • Asahi is pretty good. I saw more than 1 kind inside. it's all about Kirin Ichiban, the name says it all.

  • That eliminates both public intoxication AND alcohol consumption hours!!!! Probly even drinking age limit! This vending machine was my idea for the US, only with an ID scanner... In which case, ppl would try to use fake IDs, but the scanner will recognize them... Lmao!

  • @phsgarcia then you'd have to start putting bars on the glass screens because of every one with an alcohol addiction trying to break in. Addictions turn people into animals.

  • That's interesting that you can get beer right out of a vending machine but you can get in a lot of trouble for marijuana. Keep up the great work with these videos.

  • im sure many peoples have good memories with those machines

  • 外人ビール好きだな

  • Interesting. Personally, I'm not much into drinking. I'm a sober kind of guy. I have a lot of cells in my brain and I want to use every single one of them. Much love for Japan.

  • Would drinking in public be not good in Japan? I mean since there's a vending machine...

  • @ENRgametime

    No problems doing it.. quietly.

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom How is to be drunk in public taken?

Where i come from you gain face by drinking much (in certain circles i do not visit) but not if you get plastered.

Tipsy is ok, falling over, barfing on the sidewalk or nodding of in the train not.

It just boggles my mind that it is frowned on to use the mobile in a train but falling over or puking does not mean you wake up in a holding cell getting a lecture from an officer!

I prefer a dude talking on the mobile next seat over one drunk!

  • jidonghambaigi desu ka?

  • Only a handful of years back, one could actually buy "magic" mushrooms in Japan, legally. Ah, the good old days!

  • @noisydaoist

    Indeed..

and before the Americans ran the place in the 40's, pot was legal too...

  • Yeah... wer'e always crashing someone's party, it seems.

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom If prop 19 passes in the U.S an ounce of pot will be legal, given you smoke it in your own house, etc; that might help inspire other countries to legalize it as well!

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom americans ruin all the fun things, i had an american friend go to france and was shocked that they showed boobs on tv >.<

  • hehe.. that's worth going there ; D

  • would you need one of those id card thingy that i heard u need for the cigarette vending machines for this one as well?

  • @Fusa1407

Not for that machine .. but slowly they are changing to ID machines.

  • Japanese are zero tolerance about drugs. Or to put it in another word misinformed. They think things from Marijuana to Heroin has same devastating effect.

As for tobacco and alcohol, the 2 most common drug in use in modern world, Japanese are not so strict. Go into restaurant and ask for beer in your high school uniform, no problem. If cigarette vending machine has ID card thing just go into convenience store and buy at register. No problem unless there is policeman standing behind you.

  • Yes, zero tolerance and harsh penalties.

Marijuana was used for many things in Japan until world war 2.

When the Americans ran the place after the war it was they who started the anti-drug drive in Japan.

The underage buying of drink and tobacco is becoming stricter recently.

  • I heard that some places like tokyo have vending machines with disposable cell phones.

  • they also sell single shot disposable pistols for women who need the extra protection

  • LOL Dude XD i hafta check that out

  • to Japan ,we most go...

  • MAy i join xD

  • You said Japanese are absolutely against drugs. how do they act to the alcool usage?

  • No problem.. it causes few problems here.. rarely aggression or crime as a result

  • i have heard that some of these beer machines shut down overnight and reboot the next day or do they open 24 hours

  • Doesnt it have a age limit?

  • No, this one doesn't.

Some of the new ones require an ID card so kids can't buy them.
