If Africa's plight in terms of economics, governance, and world perspective is at all important to you, you should give it a read. A Congalese national is transported to England as a child and serve as a top interpreter for tribal languages. The book revolves around a plot of western powers to support a union of three men like that General Nkunda in order to set up a new charismatic leader in the Congo. Quite moving.

His move to connect Rwanda to East Africa besides his skepticism of Francophonism, is a very calculated and unprecedented move of integration in the region. I think, I am beginning to like President Kigame.
