thx ian, i gotta let me nails grow tho b4 i can really get the right hand clawhammer technique down. i like the way jm snaps the bass strings with the long nail of the thumb. i read he had it coated with some substance to make it stronger

NIce one ..some .nice subtle sounds from this done in dropped D tuning. Right hand style is excellent bt way-pure martynesque.
