I guess with a light child it might be able to...(with an increase is power usage and a decrease in total usable time) Also I would think it would have a very negative effect on the bearings and the chain drive. In short, not a great idea imho

if you have a wide flat surface, if your kids are light. Our battery died after about 1 1/2. In hindsight I would have preferred to use the money towards a gas powered with more torque but it was fun while it lasted.

no. very little clearance - it really has to have a flat surface. Also our battery died after about 1 1/2 year... or 1 1/2 summers of use. I am in the market for a gas go-kart now for the kids to do the off road stuff found one close that is built on ATV frame... guy couldn't get either of his two show models to start... so we walked out.

that is a little grade in the driveway and it was going down that little grade. It can barely make it up that slight grade with our lightest child driving it. Also, an update. it is dead. Battery. we got a good 7 months out of it. I think i paid for itself and I am thinking of moding and throwing a weed wacker motor on it. All and all we had positive results but I heard some horror stories.

about 10mph i would guess but only make 2 circuits and got off for fear off breaking it. the bigger you are the quicker the battery dies. ours only lasted about 7 months. not battery is totally dead won't hold a charge at all. still feel it was worth the 200 but heard some people having a lot worse deal

it says 12 mph, I have not clocked it. but I fast enough to nearly throw me out of it on full speed hard turns (me messing around) so it is fast. ie. make sure ur kids know how to drive before letting start out on this.
