nothing the US did was going to work in vietnam, short of nuke(vietnam had been fighting china on and off for over 300 years and had hundreds of miles of tunnels all over vietnam). USA couldnt nuke cuz usa was there for RUBBER from rubber trees growing in rubber plantations all over vietnam(that the french had planted) and that US tire makers so desparately needed to make tires

at my time at German Army we flying some old Vietnam Veterans that´s repairt ( in combat style ) at the early 1990´s...Q i must swallow what the flight mechanic say ´s to my in a exercise flight...!
