My friend just put one in his Disco. I am going to do the same swap on my RRC. the bottom of the oil pan was able to clear the front axle? Did you make your adapter to the ZF autobox? Thanks!
@ini88 you need a 1 inch adaptor plate betwen the al plate of the flywheel and the tranny, this will give you just enoug space for the actual oil pump inside the oil pan to clear the axle when you cut the oilpan from the back,another cut from the side to clear the ball of the axle,then i added 2 inches of spacers in the front coils to compensate for the weight of the engine and to improbe the clearence of the oilpan,not a easy swap but is worth it, if any other questions just ask no probelm :)
cruising speed is 65 mph but 80mph easy does it, more revs=more power=less economy
