Great jump! One question though, were you taught to jump while not in a two point? In this video, you weren't in a two point and I've never seen someone jump while sitting in their saddle. Don't get me wrong, the jump was great, I was just wondering how you were taught in this particular video.

My first jump was a pole propped up on the short side of a brick from trot, my second jump ( about 5 seconds later) was a 2 foot straight bar from canter ! (that is quite tall when you are a smaller than average 4/5 year old!) My pony decided she was bored with low jumps and headed straight at the higher jump on the next side of the school and i decided to just go with it!

ok first of all...it was her first jump, second of all you have no idea what style riding she is doing. So you can't really tell her how to two point. The jump actually wasnt that high. and her instructor probably thought that she would be able to feel the horse move over under her better and feel how she should two point with a higher jump. her trainer would not have her do something she wasnt ready for. I think she showed great balance and courage. She's a nateral eventer:p

As you know there were some mistakes since it was your first time jumping but honestly, you'll learn that soon enough. You did a great job.

I see a lot of comments about you shouldn't have been jumping that high and you shouldn't have been jumping so soon, blah blah blah. Everyone learns at their own speed. You obviously are a natural. Keep it up! Be proud of yourself!
