Indeed, this is not a direct offense against specifically American soldiers. At least, I don't believe it is. This video depicts two parties in war: a 'dominant' one, who is stronger in one or more aspects and a submissive one who somehow lacks the force. What's shown in this video happens in any war with any dominating party. Soldiers of a nation are not (entirely) to blame, since war does the most horrible things to people.

I have to say as an American I am pretty disappointed with is video. Let me make this simple.  War is Hell. It's not made to be pretty. If we weren't so worried about killing civilians the war probably would have been long over. It's 9 years now and if I'm not mistaken WW2 took less time to end. However, to write a song depicting soldiers like this in a war they obviously know nothing about is ignorant and disrespectful. You don't have to agree with the war, but blame the people who started it, not the soldiers sent to fight it. They risk their lives everyday and deserve everyones respect. Wow this is a huge budget video?! I've never even heard of this band. Is this all footage for their video or clips from a movie or summin? There's shot's of the band with the helicopters in the background, so i guess it's all for the video. Who are these guys? Only thing is in this band he doesn't take the guitars for hi's part but here he's the vocals. And i think he does it really good. :) hope this answers a part from ure question ;D
