I too was there that day, and I think I'm in a couple scenes!! Also, we both got almost the exact same runbys-when I first saw the General I thought I was seeing MY vid!! In fact, it seems like you were following me around-your shots here are in the exact order as mine-right down to the scenes in the car shop! That's cool-it's all good!!
P.S. I'll eventlally be posting "classic" shots of the B&O Museum from 70s and 80s. I have yet to do a YouTube of my vid from this day! Got a sample posted.
its ashame the American Freedom #1 hasnt been put in shelter. Great video though!!! that museum is one of the best! has their small ride gotten any longer in the past few years? when i was there in 2008 it was only about 8 min round trip
I was there this summer with my wife and nephew...hope to make it down next summer for one of their Steam Days events (they're talking about having more during the year, apparently)...great video!
@CSX6000 Cool, Great video Adam! Its a really neat museum. I wish that someday that they would restore engines like #490, #5300, the Reading T-1, or the B&O Mikado to operation for excursion service. Did the museum ever fix the two engines that got smashed inside the roundhouse (from the snow storm a few years ago)?

Very nice video, Adam! That's a cool place. Haven't been there since 2006. I gotta see the William Mason in action.

Did the 4-4-0 make a run or did it make just that brief appearance?
frontiero 2 months ago
@frontiero The only ran it back and forth in their yard complex.
