It is kinda cute. But to me for a quite different reason. I think it's awesome how you can always tell whether Koichi is really into something, or if he's really thinking "wtf, why do I have to be here doing this?!"
He can naturally look like an eight-year-old when he's playful, with his eyes big and glittering like a little boy. But here you can tell he really wants to get out of there and supposedly that kindergarten outfit the most. ^_^"
