what kind of bracket were you using? i lifted a head on mine btw. on the dyno. 9.5lbs made 599rwhp. going to go ahead and build it. going with the diamonds, callies, katech bolts, mls gasket, stock crank machined and balanced, and studs. 9:5 compression

Where did you find a supercharger for a ls1 and how much did it cost?

Depends on what type of internals you want. You can get cheap Mahle pistons and rods for around 800 if you shop around. If you want to spend a little more, get diamond pistons and eagle rods. 2 local guys are making 700 on stock internals. You just need a really good tune, and a lot of fuel. If you have a pre 01 car, they have weaker rod bolts. Read all you can on LS1tech.com in the forced induction section.

how much does it cost to forge our motors? im thinking about doing mine so i can upgrade to d1sc and run more booost. they say 7 psi on stock is all i can hope for. i have a cam and full bolt on car with no forged internals basically. they said the crank would be fine the way it is though.
