They have been trying to close this line for years. This is their latest ploy - run a bus on rails! It is bad news for the line.

Why don't they cut out the middle man and just run a bus? Oh, I forgot, that's what they're doing at the moment, as the new PPMs are "not ready" (i.e. they start the replacement bus now, and conveniently forget to start running the trains).

No No you must be thinking of the mainline trains. Its a whirling noise it does when it starts off, infact it may be the brakes releasing!

It doesn't stress me out, tho i'm quite happy with it. I'll miss the old train though as I've grown up with it.
