  • anyone know the identities of the 2 women in this video?

  • i love the vocals from this band

  • is it possible to get lyrics for this? my ears are tuned for metal, but not exactly for Vehemence, awesome as it is :P

  • Such fucking awful quality for such a fucking awesome song.

  • @kakashi00251 Seriously! I directed the damn thing and Metal Blade posted this down-res'd crap version on here! Get with it Metal Blade, post the high res version!

  • this is the first time ive listened to this song in like 5 years, and it still fucking slays!!!!!!!!

  • Totally reminds me of Kataklysm. Awesome.

  • SADLY MISSED BUT NOT FORGOTTEN, VEHEMENCE MUTCH RESPECT HAILS!

  • @dadov3girls vehemence is back together

  • @shithead067 Where did you hear this?

  • @aarforce13 i forget where. they have a new album though

  • God Was Created, easily one of my favorite albums ever. Helping the World to See was great too, but damn that album... fuccccking great.

  • ahhh.... i like j0hnny in the good old days.

  • I FUCKING LOVE VEHEMENCE!

  • Vehemence was a great band and if it weren't for Nathan leaving they could of made more bad ass CD's but for now the three they came out with during their run were great.

  • hey, MetalBlade, post some videos that aren't such shitty quality

  • check out my vehemence cover:

  • Anyone know what tuning these guys go?

  • @IMusHRooMHeaDI They Play 6 string B standard

  • the singer makes funny faces

  • Truly artwork.

  • @jeremebonesaw if you are implying that this is deathcore your are horribly mistaken, this is Death Metal and don't you ever confuse the two.

  • I think these guys were deathcore before deathcore had a name. I'm pretty sure a couple bands ripped them off. Anyways this is one of my all time favorite bands. I got to meet Nathan and Bjorn.

  • @jeremebonesaw Maybe melo death but no fucking ways this band is deathcore. Not even close cause I fucking hate deathcore but I do like this band. I'm not the kind who does'nt make the difference. But you sir Hmmmm!

  • @soultenebrae I understand. I personally think that this was an early wave of deathcore before the exaggerated breakdowns and overly done pig squeels. Maybe not the deathcore we know now but Vehemence certainly has guitar riffs that were very original in a slight melodic sense that lots of listeners could have been inspired by. I mean these guys predate The black Dahlia murder which is also now considered a deathcore/deathcore influence.

  • Such a shame they broke up :(

  • @gobblesnoofers they aren't broke up man, they are writing a new album. check out their new song "jim the prophet"

  • @ImmortalCadaver whaaaaat I heard rumor about them getting back together forev ago. thanks for letting me know dude

  • @gobblesnoofers They did not break up. They are still around working on a new album. They uploaded a new track on facebook.

  • /watch?v=6ipgBnD0yOA

  • KAWAAAAAAII

  • check out : insomnium, dark tranquillity, devildriver, naildown, lamb of god, darkseed, all that remains, dominia, firewind, heaven shall burn, the interbeing, kalmah, killswitch engaged, soilwork. For the most epic bands ever :O!

  • @yetiraper and then realize that they all fail compared to Vehemence.

  • @999dod999 Hes Trollin lol

  • If you like Vehemence, you will like Coal Chamber.

    Trollin

  • A good dose of the Hamutaro theme is needed for this to be perfect.

  • This is some great music.

    Greetings from Sweden.

  • Arizona metal right here!

  • just fucking wow!! completely blown away!!! anyone who knows about this band hit me up. whats their best album??? where should i start (other than here) this is amazing

  • Yeah One hell of a band. Try to get your hands on God was Created...their best work so far

  • @heelhook86 God Was Created

  • how in the fucking hell is this the first time i have ever heard of this band??!! they fucking rock!!!!!

  • i love this hit ever since!!

  • truly amazing band. Easily one of my alltime favorite metal songs. \m/

  • if you read the lyrics or happen to be one of those people who dont need to read lyrics to understand what he's saying you will realize this song is not only brutal as fuck but very beautiful and even touching. Damn

  • @bigninja27 Totally. A lot of their songs seem really fucked up on the surface but if you read the lyrics, it turns out to be much more deep.

  • @bigninja27

    lol you're such a newfag

  • Looked up the lyrics, and they are pretty good.

  • shit at the beginning i thought it was a four legged lady walikng

  • @DamnedInBlack92 me too, i think thats what they were aiming for.

  • this is fairly ok death metal. but there's so much better.(im just judging off this song, so fans of this band that will get all mad at me..just fuck off)

  • Sound likes shit I record in my garage on a 4 track

  • @shreddmasterj

    lissen kid.

Ur mom sounds like shit when i put my dick in her troth, she starts puking, and that even sound sbetter then i hear u talking irl. so stfu. go lissen to bieber or something

  • @zeretil Correct your grammar, then get back at me bro. /wrists

  • @shreddmasterj Really? you think you've ever recorded anything close to as good as what Vehemence has done? Well this is youtube sir, you've got the power to prove it.

  • @tawras Ahh of course the "well id like to see you do better" rebuttal. Just because people have opinions doesnt mean that person is the more "suitable" alternative. Its an opinion, everyone has them. I guess im supposed to automatically like everything? lern2internets

  • @shreddmasterj You clearly stated that you could make music on par with this, in your garage nonetheless, so how am I that far off in saying that?

  • @tawras I said the quality is horrendous and I can make shit alot better sounding.

  • @shreddmasterj Lets see some uploads, Mr. Shreddmasterj.

  • This song is kicks ass!!!!

  • lame song

  • @Pentamatics wow... i suggest you go back to your lame metal bands then, such as slipknot, as i lay crying, devil driver, or whatever else you listen too.... cause this is real death metal, you are abviously ignorant as to what good music is

  • @CrustyVag youre actually the ignorant one, death metal isnt the only kind of music people should listen to and if its all you listen to i pity you

  • another round of trigger... -.-

  • Penis.

  • I love this album

  • @jeffloomisrocksmysox I think that overall, "God was Created" was a better album, minus the title track. Bit too redundant. However, Her Beautiful Eyes and Trinity Broadcasting were both fucking pwn tracks.

  • The song takes off at 1:01

  • Lol, you must like melodic deathmetal then. ;D

  • Who doesn't?

2 chord main lines dont impress me, the chorus is really the only exceptional part of this song, imho.

  • Lol yeah really, it changes it's sound through out the song, i agree with you.

  • Classical Music pwns still!

try searching "carl orff - carmina burana" in youtube ;-)

  • very fucking FODA!

  • what a great death band!!!!!!!!!!!! I should have listened to them b4!

  • Amazing band. Saw them tonight. Played perfect.

  • Such a great song, this band is brutal.

  • @americanpsycho09231 makes me proud to know they're from az

  • how so??

  • very nice, he sang with decapitated when sauron was around as head vocalist

  • this has been one of my favorite death metal songs for a while, wish these guys were still around...

  • guess what, their back! Check out their myspace.

  • Very very good Nurse!!

  • fucken awesome!!

    *mosh pit!!*

  • i love the buildup

  • Fucking awesome band.

  • I have to hear their music some more times, but then I really liked it!

  • Pretty solid Death growls there. The guitar makes it sound melodic though and it pretty much fuckin ruins it for me. I heard their previous album was awesome and i was thinking of purchasing it but if it's the same case with the guitar on that one too, i think i'll pass.

  • Man you're too tough. Perhaps you'd enjoy that new cd that just game out called sounds of spoon in the garbage disposal. Quit being a fagot. Every form of music has melodies and if they don't they should.

  • Dude, their guitar tone is as weak as fucking Amon Amarth.... really doesn't fit with those Death growls. And the drumming needs more improvisation if you ask me.

Correct! Every form of music has melodies but in Death metal it pays to know how much to use and where to place it. As long as it doesn't bury or undermine the brutality introduced, it should be fine. Thanks for the suggestion, i will gladly check it out!

  • FFS, the genre is "melodic death metal". Also, music has melody everywhere. You can't 'place' it or remove it.

The sound quality of youtube is compressed and terrible, so the guitars get tossed down to the bottom of the mix. The album version is obviously gonna sound a lot better.

  • This was the first song that i had heard from them before i posted this so shortly after i realized that all their songs are like that. (melodic)

Music has melody everywhere? How tremendously dumb is that? If that's the case then there would be no purpose for distinguishing standard Death from Melodic Death.Weak-ass Guitar tones and over-flooding the songs with melodic parts is the very definition of melo-death. It's something that i particularly dislike.

  • Want me to define melody for you? I'll do it directly quoted so you can't misunderstand me. "Melody is a sequence of pitches and durations"

There you go, every piece of music has melody. The difference between melodic death metal and death metal is NOT guitar tone, it's how they use the melodies.

If you don't like it, that's fine, but don't act like a prick on their videos and bitch about their guitars or their drummer or whatever other little nit you can pick.

  • Quote: -A melody is a linear succession of musical tones which is perceived as a single entity!-

How they use the melodies was exactly my point! Weak guitar tones and the over-flooding of songs with standard linear successions of musical tones makes the songs sound more simple, weak and non-brutal.

  • lmfao, I love how you use the word 'brutal' like it's an actual dynamic to music. Guitar tone has nothing to do with melody. I meant they use more, different harmonies.

Show me a song without melody, then. Show me a song that uses 'teh br00talz' in a different way. I'd love to see it. Lmao.

It's pretty obvious that you don't know what you're talking about, but you're arguing it like you think you do.

Melodic Death is generally more complex than death metal because it uses more complex harmonies

  • lmfao! The compression does nothing to the gain of the guitars. I love how you're arguing that one genre is better than another when the differences are VERY minimal and it's all subjective anyway.

Oh sorry, I forgot you were the judge of "teh br00talz" xD

  • I didn't contradict myself at all. Music is entirely made up of melody and rhythm, I haven't said anything to dispute that since you started this.

And yes, I do understand. Melodic Death Metal can be just as aggressive and destructive and brutal and whatever you want to call it. Plain and simple, it's genre-elitist metalheads like you that make us all look like pricks.

And before you say that I don't understand, I'm a musician. I play in a blackened death metal band. I get it.

  • Even with better, non-compressed sound quality it's highly probable that the guitar tone will sound even weaker than it sounds here.

  • No, it's not. When videos get compressed, the bass frequencies are cut down, so the song isn't as heavy as it would be. The album versions are much better quality which means more bass.

  • Yes more bass and clearer, weaker sonding guitar tone than here.

Correct! Every piece of music has some kind of melody in it but what you said initially was quote... "Music has melody everywhere......and that's where i disagree.

Are you kidding me?The guitar tone can mean the difference between night and day in Death Metal!

  • Lmfao, when I said bass, I meant bass frequencies, not the instrument. Guitar tone has bass frequencies ya know, and these are lost in compression making them sound treblier than they should be.

Again, show me music without melody. All music has melody, which is just a series of tones.

  • The trebble frequencies are also cut down too dumb-ass.The sound is evenly compressed!

Why are you so fuckin stubborn?

I told you that i don't disagree with the fact that all music has some kind of melody in it but on what you said initially that was quote... "Music has melody everywhere......and that's where i fuckin disagree.

  • The fact that it's music means it has melody. I'm not gonna stop commenting because your feigned knowledge of this is really amusing.

So you agree that the tone of the song, in it's entirety, is not as full as it would be uncompressed huh? Pretty much contradicted yourself there didn't you? Ruh-roh. Just cut a hole in your own argument. Haha

And yes, songs are entirely composed of melody and rhythm. Rhythm being the beat and melody being the 'leading tone' a la the guitars.

  • The bass frequencies are cut down but don't get me wrong the guitar tone is also cut down too.Much better? Yes! Heavier? It depends from the situation and here IMO the song is gonna sound weaker than it already is.

  • The less bass frequencies in a guitar tone, the less heavy it will sound, plain and simple. It can't get weaker by adding in bass freq.

  • wow does anyone not have something bad to say on youtube??

bunch of haters indeed...let's just respect vehemence for what they

    were and that was..brutal

critics suck...just enjoy the good music these dudes made and don't criticise it...fuck

  • Oh and Vehemence is insane. I can't find a song that I don't like to listen to out of their whole discography. It sucks to know that such a great band could be broken up by a trend-following faggot guitarist. He evidently has a new "band" now... and he plays the keytar. A sad sight indeed.

  • lame as fuck, maybe its the recordings, or the vocalist

  • this albums bad ass still nothing beats god was created .

  • the main riff.....fucking metal aaaaahhahhahhahhah....sorry, i splooged....lol

  • vehemence is godly!!!!

  • gr8 band some ace songs

  • I covered this song with an old band at some of my first shows...good times

  • just heard about these guys today, they're pretty awesome. kinda reminds me of Amon Amarth

  • 2:08 is the best moment of this vid

  • damn! 1st time i hear them and i think I love'em!

  • Fuck yeah! Prepare to get your nuts smashed!

  • fuck core!

    the only core is medio-core!

    fucking posers...

VEHEMENCE WILL RIP UR COCK OFF!! haha

  • it will tear a girls pussy

  • with their mouths

    lmao

  • THIS IS WHAT STARTED ME INTO THEM! i watched this religiously... i bought it on the metal blade DVD video collection a long time ago ( i was like 14) and this was on it.... yes.. i orgasmed... but that's beside the point. MY FAVORITE BAND! PLEASE CHECK OUT MY VIDEO!

  • great song great band

  • are this guys satanic? most screomo bands are not but people have told me they are satanic.

  • these guys are not screamo. screamo music is for a bunch of pussies

  • Yeah, most screamo bands aren't. But this isn't screamo. This is death metal, and a lot of death metal bands tend to have at least somewhat satanic lyrics.

  • fuck what anyone says these guys are the fucking epitome of melodic death metal , too bad they aren't together anymore

  • best band ever.

  • you all should like GORELORD

  • heard LORDGORE lol their even better

  • who else likes smokin a big bag of weed and listening to this album i sure as fuck do pure fuckin metal fuck that core this core that go fuck urself listen to the real music mother fuckers

  • Me mother fucker Getting high a rocking out

  • true that but not all metal/death/hardcore is shitty, u just need to know where to look.

  • fucking right dude, I smoke a fucking quad to the face and spin my head the whole time. fucking sick. you are a fucking champion.

  • this band rules!!!!

  • this whole album is sick if you don't have it buy it

  • This video is way better than their other video. For sure. Any thoughts?

  • Awsome Song !

  • look at the black dahlia murder there melodic death metal n they sound thys heavy..the melodic death metal bands from america are heaveir then the european bands

  • BDM is shit metal, they arent melodic death metal. I happen to enjoy melodic death metal, its a good genre. But BDM is just lamecore...

LOL europe owns us at metal. We are no where near europe when it comes to "heaveir" as you put it.

  • No, they are indeed melodic death metal. Their last two albums don't have a hint of "core", and you are a fucking retard if you think otherwise.

  • name me a few songs by them that are melodic death and ill see what youre talking about.

  • Pretty much anything from Miasma. Check out Statutory Ape or the title track. It's not the standard generic melodeath format, that is what their first album is. Unhallowed is like Slaughter of The Soul, with slight metalcore influences and more brutal drumming. Miasma is their own style, and Nocturnal is fuck knows what, death metal which even sounds like black metal at times? But you won't find many core influences in their music and shitty pm/power chord breakdows.

  • Ehh I don't know if my previous comment was posted I exited the page too fast. Anyway, to be honest, this song is closer to "core" than TBDM's last 2 albums. The simple alt-picked riffs, and tremelo picked chorus, and lack of a solo. You won't find any simple riffing in TBDM, and there's a solo is almost every song.

  • So what are a few songs by BDM that would be melodic death?

  • Most of the songs from Unhallowed. Contagion and Funeral Thirst both have vids. And every song from Miasma. See the vid for Statutory Ape or Miasma. Trust me, just because they don't look like serious business metal, it doesn't reflect their music one bit.

  • I just seen the vid statutory ape and miasma...

i still dont like them. Like i get it, but i think its lame imo. Thats all im saying.

  • np, it's all about taste, I'm just trying to make it clear that it's not "core" music, even though half of their fans are scene pussies who believe otherwise.

  • melodic schmalodic.... this band is CLEARY gravity bong death metal..

  • hooligannSTR im a tad l8 with this msg but still i just gota say that your wrong, theres nothing core about vehemence at all and im gessing u mite kno a tad about deathcore cuz i dnt even kno wat TBDM stands for most ppl that listen 2 vehemence probably wouldnt either cuz they aint prissy little look at me look at me hardcore teen rage bullshit artists like the cock stains that listen 2 deathcore

  • I was explaining that The Black Dahlia Murder aren't anything -core, and emphasized how stupid it is to say so by saying this band could be considered that as well. And no, I'm not a fan of deathcore, I like merely one band from that genre: All Shall Perish.

  • The black dahlia murder is the epitome of deathcore you stupid fuck, they are fucking terrible.

  • Saying something like that instantly displays your stupidity and lack of knowledge on the subject. You've either never really listened to them, or you've never listened to deathcore. Now if you've done both and still think what you've stated, you epitomize mental retardation. Dumb fucking poseur.

  • They had slight -core influences... which they dropped after the 1st album. They're now on their fucking third. Work it out, genius.

  • you have to be the biggest douche on the planet. does the black dahlia murder tune down to a or a flat, no, they tune to c (a metal tuning) do they play super slow breakdowns, no, they favor faster, melodic passages. sounds like melodic death metal to me, faggot.

  • LMAO, I'm goin' way back in the comments here but "does the black dahlia murder tune down to a or a flat, no, they tune to c (a metal tuning)" Made me laugh. There is no "metal tuning". Tuning doesn't have anything to do with genre. All it has to do with anything is how low and high you can go. A lot of metalcore bands play in drop C or drop D anyway.

  • A few records ago, a band by the name of chimaira, tuned up to Drop C (metal) tuning for they felt it better encompassed darkness within their sound. I don't blindly type to hear keystrokes sir.

  • A metalcore band tuned to drop C eh? There's a shocker. Again, tuning has nothing to do with how dark something sounds, that's all up to what key you play in.

  • Come on, kids kids. Is it about the music, or about the knowledge about your genres? Jesus, grow up and just listen to the music.

  • wow these guys effin rule. PLUS they got skates and emerica t-shirts on

  • these guys are soo BRutal but yet..so soothing to the ear..they should have there own genre

  • Bands like these do have their own genre... it falls under a generalized category of good metal.

This is the respectable metal of the bunch =D

  • check out my brutal videos there better then jackass and also fuck you jesus

  • fuck the genre vehemence is sicc

they should be they're own genre

  • "Bringing back blasphmy" XD vehemence ftw my fav is god was created

  • Brutal Death Metal

  • this is one of the few good death metal bands out there. the genre is like 80% crap that sounds like someone killing a trashcan with a cat. this band rocks! new album in 09!!!!

  • dude this isn't Death Metal, this is Melodic Death Metal.

  • this isnt melodic death metal its brutal death, melodic death metal is like wintersun and children of bodom

  • i disagree, although this is more brutal than children of bodom, its still melodic death metal
