I have to admit I'm kinda jealous of these dudes since YouTube seems like such a simple idea I'm surprised I didnt invent it.....not to be mean but Chad & Steve dont seem like super-smart computer guys like Bill Gates or Steve Wozniak....those guys had incredible computer programming skills and became billionaires from it.....makes you wonder if Chad & Steve really deserve all those millions?

Just thinking of an idea isnt that impressive.....putting that idea into action using brainpower is impressive.....Chad & Steve arent computer geniuses like Bill Gates or the Google guys...they just found some venture capitalists who provided the startup money to hire a bunch of smart programmers to create YouTube....read the history of Microsoft or Google and you will see what I mean - Gates and the Google guys are way smarter than these two PayPal rejects.

Whether or not these guys are computer geniuses like the microsoft or google founders isn't really an issue. They thought of a product that there was a niche for, and actually brought it together. I'm sure many people thought a user-friendly video share site was needed, but wouldn't have had a clue where to start making one, never mind making one so successfully. The fact is these guys have somehow made a wonderful and super-popular site, that I certainly can't imagine life without now!

I give Chad & Steve credit for coming up with a good idea and then finding the right investors to help them get it started....but that's a far cry from the pure genius of someone like Bill Gates who was programming mainframe computers as a teenager in the early 70's when most people didnt even know what a computer was, and Gates also knew easy-to-use software was the key ingredient to launching the personal computer revolution...that accomplishment dwarfs anything Chad or Steve came up with.
