Bias IS better he was a stronger faster bigger MJ and if he hadn't done drugs for the first time that one dreaded night or ever for that matter he would have made it to the NBA

what makes MJ the greatest is that every year he was in the league he worked at his game and got better, even when he was way past the physical prime of his life he was still a dominant player. There's no telling if  Bias would have worked on his game as hard as Jordan so it's hard to speculate if he would have been better. Bias was definitely a rare athlete, in the same class as Jordan, and competing with Jordan in the NBA would have brought out his best.

When people say Bias was better than Jordan. Its just one of those things where society embelleshes people who have died. I have been wrong about one college player in my career. I thought Waymon Tisdale was going to be an all time great and was wrong. Bias would have been above dominique and below Jordan. His ball handling was his weakness. The highest he would have become is a James worthy type with an outside shot. This is not to put him down. Worthy and dominique were all stars.

@quincee33 Bias was a year behind MJ, but MJ came out after his Jr. year while Lenny stayed all 4 years @ Maryland so he came out 2 years after MJ.
