I play mostly guitars made for me by Stefan Sobell. I also have a Lowden Baritone and a Lakewood Nylon Strung.

The Sobells are the best guitars you can get.

This is really lovely. Thank you. I've been able to work out the verse by watching and re-watching the video, but can't quite see what the picking pattern is when you go between F-G-Em-F. Would you also be able to clarify the pattern in the chorus? Your description of the picking pattern a month or so ago was very helpful. Thanks again!!

Did you make this up "by ear" or are there tabs on the internet. I really love the way you do it, it's just a tad fast for me, maybe it's too much of an advanced for now, I don't know why I'm having such trouble. Can you slow down the picking and/or name the strings you pick as you go. You're the only lesson for this wonderful song out there, Can you possibly do a "simplified" style for us newcomers? or do I neeed to try again when I'm better. Any help is appreciated!

I worked it out by ear, and this is a slightly simplified version that I have put on YouTube specifically for students at my regular Monday and Tuesday evening classes. I realize this makes it difficult for people in other countries. My best advice is to break it down and learn a little bit at a time. There is no TAB.

The little finger stays on the G (3rd fret on 1st string) throughout the chorus. In the verse the little finger plays the D (3rd fret 2nd string) on the F chord. This makes it an F6 chord. Picking pattern in the verse is odd in that it is an 8 note pattern which has a chord change after the 3rd note of the pattern. Try this Bass (5th or 6th) + 2nd 3rd 4th (change) Bass (5th or 6th) + 2nd 3rd 4th 1st 2nd
