The slap from Randy Orton was the moment the WWE needed to make Ted a big face! The crowd was going crazy and anticipating him to fight back! (Kind of like Alex Riley with The Miz). I'd say, the WWE creative dropped the ball on that. Or, they just didn't believe in him for whatever reason, to go with it.
